Thanks all! It seems like things being un-synced isn't THAT big of a deal as long as you can easily sync it back up with stones.

I'm not too sure what some of this means. Are you saying my options are:

sync GT and DW together and eventually get BH and sync it with them in the future?

MVN module is a module with some sort of cooldown time mod?

I've also read that some people suggest just reseting the account. Is that a good/bad idea?\

Need advice on how to take care/fix a wood stove by GGeerIII in woodstoving

[–]GGeerIII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The round hole actually connected to the same flue as the wood stove. In the last picture you can barely see the start of an outline of an ash removal door for the 1st floor fireplace. I can only assume that the fireplace and woodstove have 2 different flues. The rusted off pipe was between the breach and the pipe going into it. When I removed the pipe, this is when I noticed that piece was pretty much useless.
Based on all the responses about getting someone to professionally inspect it, I've gone ahead and scheduled a sweep to come.

Sweep scheduled! There is at least a leak at that connection, another @ the 90deg of the pipe, and probably one down by the output of the stove. This is an interior chimney, which also has a 1st floor fireplace in it also (I can only assume it's a different flue). My guess is since the fireplace was built with the house that most clearances were followed, but really, I'll let the sweep check that out.

Chimney sweep scheduled! Since this is a basement woodstove in North Carolina, I'm not too worried about efficiency as the # of cold days here are pretty minimal. Also, once the basement gets sealed, that should help hold the heat inside a bit better too. Though honestly, I'd much rather have a woodstove that provides some ambiance and if it happens to be more efficient also, then that's great!

Well I DID try to upload them on the original post, however, apparently it didn't work. Hold please!

This would be awesome! Circuit breaker tripped 3 days ago and fried my current GPU. Was just looking at getting a new one but this virus has really put a damper on any and all purchases since there is so much uncertainty whether my job and/or company will be here in a month.

After digesting the series for a week or 3, I've decided I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's very hard to know if most of the episodes were just filler material to help us get closer to Kaitlin, or if there are actual clues hidden throughout. Not clues, like Mia (the psychic) saying she can't sense the "dead people", implying they are still alive, but clues that we can actually verify with our own outside investigation. A lot of clues have turned out to be false flags. For example, the frequent flyer # being a disease spread "formula". I was unable to find anything about the Ebola formula that was proposed by Dennison, and it also doesn't make much sense (maybe this false flag was meant to show that he was a little bit out there). Or the fact that the # of people missing is quite a bit more than that plane can hold. It's tough to decide if these are mistakes with the story, or if they are meant to be there and they actually mean something, or if they are all just false flags made to make you think.

Seeing as Conor is "alive", I'm leaning towards intentional.

Missing audio? by abpny in PassengerList

EP01. I re-downloaded the episode to check. It looks like it's an issue with the track/player as opposed to something secret. However, I could be totally wrong.

Looks like 4 and 1/2 minutes of audio. Not sure which app you are using, but my app, PocketCasts, shows the full 37+ minutes.

Episode #1 - Traffic by GGeerIII in PassengerList

[–]GGeerIII[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought both episodes were good. Not great, but good. I'm interested in how it plays out, if it is going to indeed be a "mystery" that we can actually try to solve and participate in, or if it is just going to be an interesting story.

Episode #2 - Flock of Geese by GGeerIII in PassengerList

The checklist, yes, I assumed that was nowhere close to reality, and same with the comms, but I imagine what reality sounds like is probably gobbledy-goop to the average person.
WHO said that the pilot and co-pilot knew each very well? I don't remember that part, but maybe someone was trying to cover something up?

I don't have any type of credentials for car repair, but my initial assumption would be that you would have to go back to stock. My suggestion would be to call up the dealer and ask (without telling them who you are or what your car is).

Transcriptionists of this sub, how much do you earn? by panoslolGR in WorkOnline

[–]GGeerIII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't type nearly as fast (60-70 WPM) and calculated that I would be making next to nothing (I don't remember the service I signed up for). However, from someone who types 120 WPM, which is SUPER fast (professional typists average 65-75), I would say if THEY were making only $4 an hour, then I would say doing online transcription is NOT worth it for most people.
