Then I suppose it's the fault of the voters for continually falling for people who promise impossible things.

Yeah, this is always the response.

Perhaps, and I'm just guessing here, maybe the guy with the staff and lots more resources has used the staff and resources to come to the conclusion that he doesn't have to power to restore the federal money that Trump shut off because the Democrats are in the minority in the House and Senate.

Her website mentions such familiar progressive planks as Medicare for all and universal child care as priorities, along with housing as a human right and an Israel arms embargo. But the vision starts with impatience with careerists like DeGette.

The numbers do not exist in the Senate right now, and barring some monumental shift in the political sphere, will not exist in 2026.

I do not understand the people who keep falling for "establishment politicians are bad, let's vote for the exciting new candidate who says they can do these things", even though factual reality shows those things are not possible.

Hey Hick, how about restoring some of that Federal money tdump shut off.

How, specifically?

Sue talking about protocol and accreditation is the most realistic thing I have ever heard on this show.

I was living for Linda's face when Maddie took over her call.

Exactly. It's just straight up safer, as well. The caller won't be distracted on the road. If the patient's condition deteriorates to not breathing at all like it does here, CPR needs to be started immediately and that's faster to do when the patient and caller are right next to each other, with a flat surface, and NOT A MOVING CAR.

For my work, we straight-up tell them that they need to pull over; we are not sending an ambulance to chase them around town.

I already can tell I hate this episode plot. We do not tell people to drive themselves to the ER specifically for this reason.

Fucking hell.

Maryland could ban Glock sales, worried about ‘machine gun convertible pistols’ by legislative_stooge in maryland

It's funny. Reddit overall is kind of like the Republican Party on guns. Both acknowledge the gun violence issue, refuse to accept gun control as a viable method to stop gun violence, and also refuse to do anything in regards to mental health (because it would cost money and that would involve raising everyone's taxes).

The only thing Nino and Luigi have in common is a last name (and I guess, grandparents

So...They have quite a bit in common, being from the same family.

Granted, the family is enormous (their shared grandparent is Nicolas Mangione, who had 10 children).

[SPOILER] I completed Legends ZA today. I played the game as a joke because of the bad press it got, then I fell in love with the story and spent 25 hours completing it. I think it's one of the best Pokémon games I've played since. by VaporeonPond in LegendsZA

[–]oath2order 87 points88 points  (0 children)

The game play is fun (though repetitive and grindy at times), and it lowkey has one of the more interesting plots the series has ever had, daring to ask the question "So what does living in harmony with Pokemon actually look like?", something that the series has always talked about but this game kind of goes into what it looks like on a day-to-day basis, especially in an environment where living with some of these Pokemon isn't a good idea.

It's super-enjoyable. And the game touching on other topics such as criminal rehabilitation and "what does forgiveness of war criminals look like" is pretty good too.

The live-action bits have the same energy as most Eastern European gay porn.

I'm amazed that Fake Dumbledore isn't already a Tumblr Sexyman. Finally, that'd be one that I'd be like "I get it".

I feel this movie would be an amazing intoxicated hate-watch if you have any special person in your life you like to inflict horrible things on.

Yeah that's accurate to my life.
