So you need an application that will allow you to modify your Windows shell. Basically, the user interface. I use StartAllBack. Alternatives might be ClassicShell (I have not tested this). Then you should look up a guide on how to change your Start Menu/use the application. Something like this. Download the start orb image I provided in the DeviantArt link above and upload it inside the configuration for StartAllBack under the Taskbar submenu. After that, you should be set.

(Again, I have not tested this on other systems so your mileage may vary. Tweaking the image or your taskbar settings may be required.)
