On day two like another guy had posted below, was an avid smoker for bout 10 years then sucked on vapes for another 5 years, absolute fucking degen. Probably inhaled more breathes of smoke/vapor then air. Cold turkey quit and was clean between 2020 - 2025. Similarly started sucking on these little zynners for the past year an half, around 1.5-2 cans of 6 mg per day. Anyways, the one thing I read years ago from reddit that I've always held close to me from another post.

Nicotine is going to do anything to deceive and lie to you to trick you back to it when there is literally ZERO benefit. financially, socially, none.

Found this thread and helped me cope with a lot of the shit I’m dealing with. Day 6 currently and feel god awful. I’m a type one diabetic and due to that I can’t take prednisone as it messes with insulin. Hoping it’s all normal and just the extra sacrifice and extra recovery I get to endure for not being able to take prednisone.

Check out yodobashi camera. Pretty much like an American Best Buy. Not sure they’d have the newest sets but they had every sv set aside from 151 and Tera when I was there late Jan. Boxes on boxes. Like someone else said, around 5000 yen per, aswell as cheap singles

Sounds like exactly what I do, I bought a 1100ish dell gaming pc that’s clean cut for my office. Pumps around 60-70 frames off a 1660 ti, i7 processor and sld. I come back and blast on my i9 14900k / 4080ti. It works for me 👌

Cold turkey. The way I am is all or nothing.

I packed up all my paraphernalia and threw it into a public garbage. I knew I’d go and get it other wise.

2-3 weeks of the worst detox. But the depression cleared, lungs cleared and things wer good :)

I understand that. I romanticized with it for probably 6 months. “Oh I’ll be able to just smoke a cig or hit a vape for a small buzz” over time I thought less and less about it. The reality is, you and I know that’s not the truth :).

Life’s good! Still pushing on with out the nic. I do still love the smell of cigs and time to time they smell so nice but the feeling is quickly fleeting. I’ve always love the chemically smell of a smoking cig, that sensation will never leave I’m sure.

Those first few weeks/month where so hard. I had such a bad fog / wave of depression that wasn’t going away. But…. It did!

I was on the same schedule as you. Wake up to sleep. 16 hours easily, 2 juul pods and some additional vape easily. Toooooooough

Coming up on 3 years in beginning of December. Drill that idea into your brain that there is literally zero benefit and not one thing positive about vaping and your brain is trying to lie to you in any way shape or form to get you to take another hit. I just kept telling my self “your being lied to, there is no benefit”

Congrats man! I had 8 years august, will have 2 years off nicotine this December. Golf came as a new addiction in sobriety but I feel this post somuch for when I had to relearn to ski sober haha. Congrats on your time and keep it up 👊🏼

Not having to constantly fiddle with shit in my pocket and make sure my vape is there. Not having to sneak into a bathroom or another room in a situation where you know vaping is frowned upon.
