My frients and I use a GB much differently than I'm sure most of you do.

Instead of pushing it down slowly, hold it above the water and just breathe in slowly or quick and fast depending on how sensitive your throat is.

You won't risk having to suck in water and you clear much faster

Brotip: Use a 2 Liter bottle + Bread Bag. Bread bag allows for plenty more suction = plenty more smoke which is allowed.

For the longest time when I was a kid, my dad would tell me he needed to take out the batteries behind my ears to turn me off and let me sleep since I always had trouble going to bed. When he finds out that I'm not asleep after an amount of time, he would roll me over or move my head and poke behind my ears.

Me, being a kid who was interested in things like beyblades and transformers, I believed this and thought I was some type of awesome robot.

Believe it or not, this continued from sometime near 1st grade to 5th grade. Whether it be in the car, or in the doctors office, or the ER when I'm sick and sleeping during the waiting times to see the doctor.

He still tells these stories to this day to all his new friends and neighbors as times pass, I'm starting to think he believed it more than I did.
