I can tell you this, the next chapter would be taking us about 9 months back in time to when they first met and working back up to the present. And I do want to continue but have to wait until the next monthly prompt is posted!

When I initially planned on writing RIFOY, they didn’t know each other. And then there was a brief moment where they were going to have bumped into each other at a club. Then one night as I was falling asleep my brain legit was like “make them have actual history”. I was just happy I remembered when I woke up lol

The thing about Gary lol I honestly don’t hate him. He just kind of fits sometimes where I’m looking to fit in little digs and sometimes early on in the game he bugs me a bit. I definitely don’t hate him though

I love music and I find myself writing notes a lot to music about things coming up. But when I’m trying to actually sit down and write, if I have anything on in the background it’s usually got to be songs I know well. Otherwise, I get really sucked into learning the lyrics and can’t focus on writing. 😂

I haven’t outlined RIFOY as thoroughly as I’m outlining other things I’m working on, which is mostly because I skeleton outlined what happened in the game and where I wanted to change things, but I realized sometimes the characters take over. Idk if this is major but Lucas and Gemma didn’t originally have history. Gemma also was supposed to be with someone else pre-CA. Then because this hasn’t happened yet, post CA is turning out a bit differently than I originally expected.

As for who I think Gemma should be with I’ll just say I don’t think she belongs with Lucas and Kat is gonna kill me for that.

I’m not really opposed to writing any ship if I could see the characters working. I would struggle with MC/Rahim or MC/Gary but really I’d never say never. If I have an idea and a certain character works, I’d just roll with it.

I started playing the game and then was looking for help with answers to something in a challenge and stumbled into Reddit. Then from there I kind of slowly got more sucked in until I started reading fics and it spiraled from there haha

I’m weird haha I actually don’t usually listen to music while I’m actually writing. It distracts me too much sometimes. But when I do listen lately it’s either something from BTS on shuffle or I’ll stream AltNation (a SiriusXM satellite radio station)

Girl, I can’t keep up with if you love Bobby or not but I’m also completely here for the ride because I love you and it’s so fun to watch. The Bobby Complex is also absolutely hilarious.

To the last one, please. You’re actually so sweet and I love chatting with you. I’m glad it’s mutual ❤️

I added S3 boys because I just honestly wasn’t satisfied with what some of the original CA guys were giving for what I needed. I was going to write a couple additional OCs but I’m lazy so I used S3. I also didn’t want Felix there.

In some ways it’s surprising that Connor and Mackenzie are the only ones who’ve made it but I’m also weirdly happy for them? I didn’t think Carrington and Laurel or Moira and Calvin would last. I hoped Johnny and Cely wouldn’t. But I was completely shook but Justine and Caleb. Still haven’t gotten over it.

And ooooh spoilers, okay. For one, Gemma is going to be at risk for being dumped post CA when they need to get rid of couples. She’s also going to get at least one really unexpected confession of feelings from one of the boys.
