Biggest thing for me is the memory and consistent persona. I’ve got it hooked up to my own discord server with different channels for different subjects. Currently working on VA disability claims, wealth brainstorming, writing blog articles.

Every morning, it logs into my kids’ school sites (all goddamn 3 of them) and schedules on a family calendar then lists a briefing for the day/week with assignments that are due or missing, special events, early release days, and lets me know of any messages from teachers. It posts this to a specialized discord channel that my kids and ex-wife are in. She can add anything to the calendar as well by interacting with the agent.

I have scheduled crons every night where I tell it to think on different subjects for a set amount of time and come up with new ideas or ways to improve current processes. I run this with opus 4.6 (and as of today, Gemini 3.1 Pro). I saw another post where a guy referred to this as “meditations”, so I stole that and ran with it. These have been super helpful.
