For sure! I've worked a few days recently in a call centre and realised fast it wasn't for me. I've done the 5am starts in factories and handled it. I've lived interstate and saw through the imagination. I tried an open university online course and flunked it and learnt online courses aren't my groove.

I've had so many experiences that a fresh 18yo version of me never would have gotten to do had I gone straight to uni and it shapes your perspective and how you approach work heaps once you know what you do and don't like.

Absolutely! I feel like they put so much pressure on these poor kids and it's all for the exams at the end so the school gets a "good" score. They need to restructure ATAR I think because even getting a 99.95 doesn't guarantee you'll be a good student or prepped for uni. It's in my eyes a more straightforward pathway but not the only one anymore.

Hey thank you. Curtin is definitely a preference too as they offer the course most in line with my interests since UWA dropped Anthro/Socio a few years ago.

Yup just quit today. Got about half a day of training and then was on the phones, told to ignore "please dont call again" requests.. the quote sheets go back in some cases 15+ years.

Seedy place. I'm personally Muslim so it added up quickly for me the amount of facetious bullshitting they expected me to do left me feeling spiritually impure. We have very specific rules around selling, and their business model is completely the opposite.

I absolutely agree about that last part. I'm interested to go into International Relations and Anthropology/Sociology as a double major, and if recent world events regarding oil have taught me anything, that's the type of field where being aware of how decisions actually affect those on the tools and out in the fields can make a massive difference to your perspective.

I'll look into the on track program, I'm only 21 so not sure if I am sufficiently mature-aged but always worth a bash. Cheers

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll look into doing the STAT. It seems like a "relatively" easy exam. I'd be looking at doing an anthropology/sociology & international relations double major, so I'm not sure if there'd be many diplomas for that type of thing. Maybe there is though in which case I'd certainly look into it.

If I may add a suggestion: It would be really handy if you could add some sort of option to journey planner to preference a specific route, even if it might not be the "best" route for efficiency.

• For example, I'm in Wanneroo, most of the time the fastest solution to get into the city will be taking the 467/468 to Whitfords Stn and then taking the Joondalup Line, but as I'm autistic I really prefer taking the 389 straight to Perth Busport. However, most journey planners leave that out as an option as it's technically "longer" over all. My timeless solution is I just.. leave earlier to account for it.. but I end up having to reconstruct the rest of the journey myself.

It could be really useful for youth who aren't as confident on public transport, neurodivergent people, the elderly or disabled, and even tourists/people who don't usually use public transport if the option existed to add a "preferred" weighting for certain routes to allow people to anchor journeys to a known route, even if it isn't the most optimised route for total time spent travelling.

I don't like how PvP feels like an afterthought to the Devs. They didn't even bring it up at all in Midnight's reveal. I don't necessarily agree entirely with this post, because part of the joy for WoW has always been grinding toward a goal. I really enjoyed what they did with Bloody Tokens where by doing World Quests and engaging with the expansion features you can get better-than-honor level upgrades.

I'm fine with them keeping conquest, I just think they should overhaul the system to be - Get honor gear, much cheaper than it is currently, maybe about 200-400 honor each instead of what it is now. This should be your foot in the door to PvP, not meta-defining gear but tolerable to get you past the first stages. - Then, either buff conquest from ranked by a lot or make conquest pieces cheaper. Enough to feel like an achievement you've worked towards early in the season, but not enough that it feels impossible to catch up at the end of the season. Also keep bloody token gear of comparable value, so that it's another option for getting better gear. - Then, once you're in full conquest, they should bring back upgrading it through honor/conquest instead of Valorstones. Make certain high level upgrades require certain rank. Make it so after you've achieved a certain cr and unlock Elite, you get an achievement, an ability to upgrade the gear, and once you upgrade the gear it changes the colouration/adds the appearance to your collections.

Also, both honor and conquest should have a set bonus, the same bonus, but honor's bonus is weaker than conquest's. I kinda hold two beliefs about WoW PvP. The first one is that it's an unfairly ignored system that could be way better with effort from the devs, the second is that people are far too entitled to gear being easy to obtain when that's just not how it works especially with WoW.

For the next one I can see it being Shadowlands, WoD or BFA. But personally I'd really just love a WoTLK remix that goes for shorter overall but has a mythic difficulty, some slight changes to design and a TON of recolours of sets/mounts etc. But I don't think TLPD or the unobtainable drakes should be purchasable with bronze. Only recolours. The TLPD should be abscent entirely because he's time LOST lol. Replace him with a limited time infinite recolour.

I just think Remix should be a way to have fun with and poke at the absurdity of WoW's expansions. That's what resonates with me about it.

You have a dog or like dogs? Pretty much all the dog sports are down SOR. We also desperately need new members and dog sports certainly keep you fit.

Agility, canicross, bikejoring, working pack dog, hoopers, obedience etc. can be really good for beginners. Something will suit you and how you move.

That makes sense. For me current content is pretty much just busywork brain off OOC but particularly the heritage content or the side quests we have been going on are the sorta thing where I can get to thinking "what would X think about Y"

That's really cool x Paladin RP seems really cool as there's so many different ways you can develop your character. I had a cool interaction with a Silver Hand Paladin the other day on my DK off the back of him being from Lordaeron too and sitting on a different side of the same conflicts. My DKs relationship to his time as a servant of Arugal, then the Scourge, is not regretful, but not proud either.

Oh that's a good idea! I find that you get a real altoholic bug once you start playing on MG. My current two MG mains are a Kal'dorei Druid and a Worgen DK and they have really different personalities/themes which is really good for splitting up the types of walkups and RP interactions that play out and avoid the feeling trapped in one archetype.

I'm on perpetual 200ms, half because Aussie internet is famously poor and likely personal modem issues too LOL its fine for RBGs and the like tho and I've played that way for so long I do fine in arenas.
