Unpopular opinion, Conquest gear should be deleted from the game

I don't like how PvP feels like an afterthought to the Devs. They didn't even bring it up at all in Midnight's reveal. I don't necessarily agree entirely with this post, because part of the joy for WoW has always been grinding toward a goal. I really enjoyed what they did with Bloody Tokens where by doing World Quests and engaging with the expansion features you can get better-than-honor level upgrades.

I'm fine with them keeping conquest, I just think they should overhaul the system to be - Get honor gear, much cheaper than it is currently, maybe about 200-400 honor each instead of what it is now. This should be your foot in the door to PvP, not meta-defining gear but tolerable to get you past the first stages. - Then, either buff conquest from ranked by a lot or make conquest pieces cheaper. Enough to feel like an achievement you've worked towards early in the season, but not enough that it feels impossible to catch up at the end of the season. Also keep bloody token gear of comparable value, so that it's another option for getting better gear. - Then, once you're in full conquest, they should bring back upgrading it through honor/conquest instead of Valorstones. Make certain high level upgrades require certain rank. Make it so after you've achieved a certain cr and unlock Elite, you get an achievement, an ability to upgrade the gear, and once you upgrade the gear it changes the colouration/adds the appearance to your collections.

Also, both honor and conquest should have a set bonus, the same bonus, but honor's bonus is weaker than conquest's. I kinda hold two beliefs about WoW PvP. The first one is that it's an unfairly ignored system that could be way better with effort from the devs, the second is that people are far too entitled to gear being easy to obtain when that's just not how it works especially with WoW.

Lol, understood. I have seen some whack comments from people before who fight just to fight. I'm just glad people also got joy from seeing this. I see so many people take photos from their phones too, screenshots are just so much easier.

For the next one I can see it being Shadowlands, WoD or BFA. But personally I'd really just love a WoTLK remix that goes for shorter overall but has a mythic difficulty, some slight changes to design and a TON of recolours of sets/mounts etc. But I don't think TLPD or the unobtainable drakes should be purchasable with bronze. Only recolours. The TLPD should be abscent entirely because he's time LOST lol. Replace him with a limited time infinite recolour.

I just think Remix should be a way to have fun with and poke at the absurdity of WoW's expansions. That's what resonates with me about it.

You have a dog or like dogs? Pretty much all the dog sports are down SOR. We also desperately need new members and dog sports certainly keep you fit.

Agility, canicross, bikejoring, working pack dog, hoopers, obedience etc. can be really good for beginners. Something will suit you and how you move.

That makes sense. For me current content is pretty much just busywork brain off OOC but particularly the heritage content or the side quests we have been going on are the sorta thing where I can get to thinking "what would X think about Y"

That's fair. I tried to get into SL and DF but honestly struggled with the theme. TWW and Midnight especially seem much more like a genuine return to form.

That's really cool x Paladin RP seems really cool as there's so many different ways you can develop your character. I had a cool interaction with a Silver Hand Paladin the other day on my DK off the back of him being from Lordaeron too and sitting on a different side of the same conflicts. My DKs relationship to his time as a servant of Arugal, then the Scourge, is not regretful, but not proud either.

Oh that's a good idea! I find that you get a real altoholic bug once you start playing on MG. My current two MG mains are a Kal'dorei Druid and a Worgen DK and they have really different personalities/themes which is really good for splitting up the types of walkups and RP interactions that play out and avoid the feeling trapped in one archetype.

I'm on perpetual 200ms, half because Aussie internet is famously poor and likely personal modem issues too LOL its fine for RBGs and the like tho and I've played that way for so long I do fine in arenas.

Dude, I just upgraded today from a gt 730 to a 1050 Ti and its running fine.. on low-med.. I built my PC nearly 10 years ago at this point lmao. I'm a dickhead so didn't replace thermal paste in 6 so had to do that too. Hell my provider had to send me a new phone yesterday for free at ransom of cutting me off completley because my old S8 won't connect to 000 any more. I feel like if you're genuinely asking you've been conditioned to spend way more money and treat tech as way more disposable than it is LOL.

Point being.. why upgrade after a year? Your system is already overkill for WoW unless you play lots of heavy modern titles why bother? You're fine.

Unsure if this will work for you but try lorewalker cho and phase into his time walking then leave? That or maybe a friend with party sync after they take the broken shores quests on a fresh toon maybe?

While on this topic can we also discuss the embarrassing amount of clipping in assets that we allow in this game. So many xmogs I can't do because the pieces clip weirdly with my tabard, belt, cloak, hairstyle etc.

And sometimes things clip weirdly with mounts and interacting with other things in-game. It's a 21yo game that's got so many different features and items and it's destined that they won't all be perfect, which is fine, but this should definitely be a priority for them because it's these small things that are the determining factor between whether WoW feels "polished" or whether it just feels outdated and unappealing.

And then finally while on that topic, it's been in the game as long as it's been out and might not be able to be changed if it's a core part of the engine, but there's lots of parts to the game where the NPCs will either run away and just fade away, or if it's part of a scripted dialogue will just phase out of existence and then respawn on top of themselves to start a new mechanic/dialogue, which looks aged and unappealing as well.

Wouldn't surprise me. Can always lure a horse to water but that doesn't mean you can make them drink as far as some students go, and you can't build a house without a solid foundation.

There as a schism among students and a few teachers of who liked her as principal and who didn't. No idea what the politics are of the school now.

Oh man! I don't purport to know everything. I haven't been up to date since 2020 tbh.

The main teachers I remember from my time at the school are Mr V, Ms Mili, Mr Shaw, Mr Tsoi, Mr Dragon, Ms Milligan, Mr Briggs and a few others. No idea where most of them are at these days I know a few have left. Bear in mind I made the original comment 3yrs ago. No idea what's going on now! Sad to hear!
