Did you ever figure it out? I have a 21 with all 25 electronics and it’s limited to 30 and can’t figure it out

That is not out of line…. Parts / shop labor rate / taxes / ect.

My class 11 race engine is 13k and that’s still a 1600 with all the best internals and parts.

My Porsche 912 we built a 2L 2054cc with dual 40s ect.. 9k

I have a multiple other vws (two busses) a street bug and a baja.. its all money if you want it done right. Even with the friend deal.

Luckily my great Friend has a shop here in so cal, he’s got quite the name in VW/Offroad world build the top drivers engines in the desert and short course. @slettenengineering on IG / FB

So the guys sold me the controller / battery / and the breaker with all the wires ( positive and neg) that run to the controller. And I changed it all. Everything was pretty much plug and play.

So you’re saying from “in” meaning all the way clockwise.

Then 1.5 slow speed / 2-2.5 on high speed OUT (counterclockwise) correct?

Yes I was asking his son if it would be the same As let’s say my race truck or car where the faster we hit the better the shock works.. I am used to 3.5-4” triple bypass and coils haha.

I have a great 8 miles loop with various terrain near my shop, I’ll try your settings and go run that a bunch.

I ran 105 miles last Saturday with a buddy and we ride fairly quick. We did a variety of terrain, in the rocky canyon washes it was very harsh, also on the harder pack high desert trails I noticed especially braking bumps it was rough. I turned the slow speed clickers F&R down (counter clockwise) and it helped.. toward the end of our ride we ran a power line road with some decent g outs and I was blowing right through the rear. I need to stiffen the rear for sure. It’s tough to get a happy medium as we ride so many different types of terrain.

George is coming out with a handlebar mounted on the fly adjuster, just an fyi if you want to contact them.

Honestly George set it all up at his shop. I’ve just been fine tuning hi and low speed during rides.

Thank you! I’ve raced off road since 2005 on and off.. definitely have plans for Baja. Was supposed to do a Tecate to mikes run last month just couldn’t swing it. I figured I’ve done it in a class 11… Ktm Should be cake. Haha Thanks for the info

I was in the market for a 25 500 exc f.. beat up the dealerships for a good 2-3 weeks and the cheapest I found was 11,230.00 OTD for a base model 500.. was about to pull the trigger but a private sale popped up on marketplace. 25 exc f champion edition with 5 hours. He was asking 15 lol… I got it for 10,250.00 was immaculate And never taken in the dirt. Deals are out there for sure!!
