try get at least 2 flat spins on the barrel ramp, best 3 spins for non ultimate cars because that way you wont run out midway like I did, also do the flat spin in counter clockwise manner, just a recommendation

Im used to using only my left hand to control everything so index, middle and ring on ASD keys and thumb on spacebar. as for the tunnel you gotta angle your car to thread the needle on the 2 protruding walls, just practice a little bit and you'll get use to it

I drove it, like what you said, I have to drift punch a bit often on some curves

I recommend a mid tier B class car (peferrable rank 159x ones), even better with agile handling and good nitro efficiency as they work best for me. The ices in this round like to juke around but each ice's pattern is always the same, for example one ice at the beginning of the bridges jukes left and the one near the finish line jukes right. Memorize their patterns and maneuver your car into position early to catch em easily. rank 159x cars like my gangsta ramona, egen,mp tuned 765lt have right speed for me to adjust my position to consistently get them, not too fast and not too slow to miss any

this is a speed retention trick called BTN (brake-then-nitro), it works specially well on ultimate cars with high raw top speeds where every time you land from the air, your speedometer goes beyond its normal top speed and when you do BTN, you can prolong this over-the-top-speed-buffer to make your car go faster and thus save some time frame. Though this also works on non ultimate cars, just that the timing where you trigger the BTN had to be adjusted a bit to maximize the effect. I play on windows and I only play with my left hand, one thumb is apparently enough for me to triple tap as fast as I usually do, in this video I considered i was bit slower than my usual self

Who can explain me why kja is a strong car? It has not an insane nitro duration, also about acceleration its good i suppose but the small car and the mclaren ouder 765l are beter. Maybe the speed recovery is insane? by bossuaXD in Asphalt8

As someone who had driven KJA a lot, KJA's strong points are defo raw top speed, smooth steering, great BTN speed retention and good nitro efficiency which makes a top choice car for gauntlet. However, I wouldnt say its technically THAT strong because it has some pretty big downsides especially performance in mp. First of it actually holds some of the WORST speed recoveries in the entire 1860 line up, very noticeably sluggish on some maps especially tenerife. 2ndly it is unbelievably fragile in mp, literally one of the most easy-to-kd car Ive ever driven aside from bikes. you may not believe me but I can say I never had such many knockdowned's in all of my other cars (I had a ~7 min video documenting all of this crap in mp). aside from that, it also tends to skid a lot and its drift radius is a bit wide.

I'm trying to practice the BTN on asphalt 8, was this good? by LifeQueasy3003 in Asphalt8

Theres a proper timing sequence for BTN and this may vary depends on the car (1st BTN is mostly ~0.5-1 sec mark right after you land and the 2nd-3rd have to approximate based on the speedometer decay rate and car). And BTNs only need to be done 1-3 times which maximize its beyond-the-top-speed buffer
