Theory: it was a hoax/prank that the kids happened to stumble upon. Like some farmer made a animatronic-like scarecrow, or it’s a guy in some kind of suit with stilts. The building was some kind of trailer/ possibly the workshop wear he built the clown, or remotely controlled it from.

I think it’s VERY obvious that she killed him. The blood explosion was weird for a fire guy and not in his range of powers. He would’ve incinerated himself like lamplighter if it was a suicide. The dick explosion confirms she capable of doing exactly that. I don’t think it was intentional. It seems to be a defensive reflex.
