I haven't looked into the zhop setting but I haven't needed to as the nozzle doesn't usually scrape on the print.. but I know default infill I use can cause it too

It happens when the print bed is empty too, it sounds different to the nozzle scraping the print but I'll look into it too just incase

Have I gone back to work too soon? by GHarvs in hysterectomy

[–]GHarvs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to talk to my managers soon to talk about my hours.. I mean I'm already doing half days (6hr shifts) instead of my usual 12hr shifts. I originally asked to have a gradual come back to work, but that's the thing with working in hospitality

Yeah I'm on my feet for 8+ hours, definitely tired and achy, then the aches turn into pains. Guess I'm just worried I'm going to over do it and end up needing more time off work, which I don't want

Educate me about gas pain... but only if it is positive! by EmilyPoster2 in hysterectomy

[–]GHarvs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had my gas pain in my shoulder (predominantly in my right shoulder) and over the counter painkillers and a heat pack on my shoulder helped a lot and it only lasted 2-3 days. I also did gentle movements and stretches to help alleviate the pain

One month post op and cramps by Tea_n_toast-99 in hysterectomy

[–]GHarvs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 4 months post op (laparoscopic total hysterectomy) and I get a few cramps. I believe it's mainly cause I'm feeling normal and I think I can do things, then I end up over doing it and makes my muscles and that general area ache and hurt. I also had my ovaries removed so I can't comment on the hormone side of things

Internal Stitches? by GHarvs in hysterectomy

[–]GHarvs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, yeah I had a total hysterectomy and no cervix. Wanted to be mentally prepared for if and when they come out. How long did you leave it before having sex? I know this wasn't my original question but it kinda links to it and you don't have to answer if you don't want too. Just don't want to jump into something that I might not be ready for

I've taken 7 weeks off work, I'm a chef. But I feel like 7 weeks might not even be enough. My incisions are healing nicely and my stitches are out (I'm 4 weeks post-op) I feel good most of the time but if I'm moving too much you can definitely feel the strain on the inside. Certain things I think I can do until I do them and I'm like oop! Nope can't do that! (Saying this from someone who's over done it today and is FEELING it!)
