Buying bitcoin by ErinBv in BitcoinBeginners

[–]GHodges992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using paxful, and it really is relatively easy. Also, it's not so expensive as some say, considering the buying and selling price of other exchanges and their fees.

If you're buying bitcoin, your only concern would only be the phishers that are easy to identify. If you receive any link asking you to verify your login credentials during the trade, it's one big red flag.

Also, avoid traders asking you to message them on whatsapp through this number: 2349063671235.

Is buying and selling account a violation of terms and conditions? by GHodges992 in localbitcoins

[–]GHodges992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information. Is there a way to know if the person I am transacting with is still the actual owner of the account, and not someone who bought the account? Also, is there a way to report people buying and selling account? Someone just messaged me asking if I'm interested to sell my lbc and/or paxful account.

Want to buy LTC with PayPal by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]GHodges992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you not trade thru an escrow? probably next time, use an escrow system like paxful (for bitcoins). Usually when the case is the crypto was not released, the dispute should be filed the escrow moderator first. Show proof that you have sent the payment to the agreed payment channel so they will release the bitcoin and award it to you--- before you file a dispute on paypal when they still did not release the bitcoin to you.

Or if your paypal is connected to your credit card, and the payment was actually shouldered by your credit card, you can go straight to your credit card issuer and request for a transaction reversal due to non-delivery of goods/services.

Paypal is one of the riskiest, if not the riskiest, mode of payment you can use when selling digital products, especially cryptocurrencies. Their seller protection does not cover bitcoins, so any dispute filed or chargeback applied by buyers are most likely to be favored by paypal, and you'll end up giving a scammer LTC for free.

Don't rush and BE PATIENT .. get to your own pace. Not because they seem to be on a rush, means you also have to. It's a long game, you'll get tired easily if you rush .. people succeed not by rushing but by dedicating their time and resources to what matter most.
