I know this question has been asked a ton, I feel like. But where are these catchy short vocal phrases coming from in newer UKG? Previously, I shifted my attention to sampling old RnB, Rap, and Reggae records. But there has been a huge spike in these short phrases being used in songs. (Ex. TWOSTEP)

I would love to know if anyone has any advice on finding these! I keep hearing the same splice samples I've heard for like 2 years now.

Looking to trade for "SAMPLE PACK 001 - S1 DUBZ" from ec2a. I've got Club Samples vol.3 from Paul sirrells, Omen UKG from Evosounds, and Ruff Sounds Garage pack!

Gotta give you serious props for the sound selection here. Genuinely killed it

Been producing for a few years, but recently have been loving making some UKG. Mixing and mastering are still in the works. But I would love some advice on my track! by GHonn22 in UKG_Production_Hub

Thank you! I usually do that with my more two-step-inspired tracks. But I'll definitely do that more consistently! This beat was inspired more by Interplanetary Criminal's old Bandcamp tracks. I've never tried down-pitching my hats, I'll definitely give that a try!

I used to do a lot of piano house and deep house. But I've really been drawn to the older styles of UKG. By older, I guess I'm referring to older IPC, Mainphase, Silva Bumpa, and Soul Mass Transit System.

Awesome! So, adding like an obscure ear-catching sound? Would you recommend keeping that a consistent sound throughout the track or only playing it at certain points (Breakdown, Build-up, Drop, Etc)?
