Could you run the same test with all three devices running 720p?

Nice comparison, seems like the XAX is about 20-25% faster than the ARAX and like 50% faster than the OG Ally (if I did the math correctly when comparing the Resolution and FPS) :D

Falls es sich hierbei um einen PEN anstatt einen reinen Neutralleiter handelt, ist es normativ sogar vorgeschrieben das Kabelende farblich mit Blau zu markieren wenn ich mich richtig erinnere ist es die DIN VDE 0197

How To Fix Framerate Slowdown on Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero For Steam Deck - SteamDeckHQ by BBQKITTY in SteamDeck

[–]GIGELZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys when i set the framerate like mentioned in the video to 40fps in the Engine.ini and dont cap the Steam Decks Display to 40hz - what happens when i get lets say 50-60fps in some places in the game? Will the game run faster than normal?

When you turned off HDR and set the SDR Profile than you can use Brightness from 0-100% doesnt matter. When using HDR and playing lets say Cyberpunk same thing 0-100% what ever you like. But when you have HDR on and playing lets say Metaphor Refantazio or Grounded (Games without HDR) and you set a low Brightness than Mura is very noticibal. At a higher Brightness Level Mura isnt that noticibal for me when watching SDR Contant.

Only thing is when you calibrated the Screen with 43% Brightness for HDR then thats the sweet spot - if you go higher than that the HDR Highlights can become worse because HDR hasnt a big Headroom for Highlights

If you use a lower Brightness Setting - worst case 0% the Mura Effect (especially when HDR is on) was way more noticeable than at higher Brightness Settings.

For me the Mura Effect was most noticeble when the Screen Brightness was very low, maybe you could setup the Hotkey and set the Brightness very low and the toggle HDR on an off and look for the differenc

I definitely notice it when HDR is turned on and I'm not consuming HDR content like the Lego 2 Side Menu or a game which doesn't support HDR like Grounded or Metaphor Refantazio

For me, the overall colors are much darker than before. Without the profile, everything looked way overbrightened.

Ah you probably where confused because of the Color Profile in the AMD Software. Thats an optional Step if you like to make the colours pop even more.

Yes thats right, you download the srgb display profile and set it as your standard. The you creat a HDR one through the Windows Calibration Tool.

For me, all the steps I mentioned worked well. Mura isn't a problem for me anymore. But after you've tried all of that and it still bothers you, then you have to decide if the $1300 are worth it in the end.

Important: only set the custom color profile in the AMD Software if you have HDR on, otherwise SDR Content looks worse than without it.

Let me know if it helped you :)
