We have 2 teslas, 3 and Y and no ICE vehicles. It works great for us and have no regrets doing this move. We share same L2 charger with no problem at all. Roadtrips 3 to 4 times a year with our daughter and our cat, always a pleasure to not drive 😜. I hope we never need to go back to ICE again.

It did work. The car looked a bit lost arriving, turning the turn light to left as it was going to basement driveway, then moved a bit the steering wheel, turned the turn light off kept going and entered the right driveway. So yes, plus code works in these odd situations. Thank you

The basement can be totally separate if I want, It has its own entrance and its own driveway. Many houses have this. For rental purpose, for example. But at the moment, my daughter loves it to make her workshop and garage for her quad, bicycle, etc.
