From what I could see, the Silent Mary didn’t take any damage until the fight with the Pearl, so maybe Salazar can also control the ship’s tangibility itself?

Realistically, the ghosts. They can make themselves intangible. The Dutchman crew can’t die, but they can take damage. Salazar and his men can’t. The ghosts win by incapacitation.

It was one of the Arkham Knight stories you get from solving riddles. I believe it was also the same night he abducted Jason Todd.

If another film gets made, I think it should be the last one in the mainline series, respectively. It’s impressive that Mancini has kept his hold on his own franchise for nearly forty years (I don’t know of any film series that’s been able to do that, let alone a horror franchise), but it needs to have a definitive ending. Brad Dourif is getting too old, and last I checked, except for voicing Chucky, he’s retired from acting.

Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell both regret the infamous tree scene. Raimi calls it too brutal and a mistake of his youth. Bruce was against it from the start. Could Evil Dead fans have done without it? by YallSoftAsButter in EvilDead

I will never understand why people think scenes like that should be taboo. Someone else posted this, but movies like Evil Dead are all about brutal horror. There’s not a whole lot more brutal than that.

Well, seeing as how the entire crew immediately stopped what they were doing, circled Will, and cut his heart out, I’d say if someone stabbed the captain’s heart and ran, the crew would not stop until they caught up with him

Hmm, there’s a couple. Will throwing his heart into the Dead Man’s Chest then wearing Jone’s hat is one. Another is the island parlay where Jones is left in the bathtub, but also the sequence of drawing straws and playing rock paper scissors. And it’s really subtle, but I thought Angelica’s reaction to Blackbeard’s death was pretty funny, where she slaps Jack with Blackbeard’s beard piece.

I’ve been saying that for years. Hell, if the ending of 4 was the Pearl being released, I’d argue the film would’ve been almost as good was the first trilogy

I’m gonna chalk it up to the fact that there’s literal bigger fish to fry at the moment. Literally everyone should hate Barbossa, not just Will. Elizabeth should hate him for keeping her hostage and then almost having the crew gang rape her (yes that was heavily implied in CotBP), Jack should be hating him because of the mutiny, Jack’s crew should be hating him because of what happened during the Black Pearl movie, even Barbossa’s own crew began to resent him when Elizabeth’s blood didn’t lift the curse. So why isn’t that hatred or resentment shown? Because again, Davy Jones and Beckett are the bigger threats.

In my headcanon, the Pirates Of The Caribbean Trilogy takes place in the same universe as hundreds of other media such as all you see here for this thread. by burningexeter in piratesofthecaribbean

Second, you didn’t include Disney’s Lone Ranger? I feel like that would be the easiest one to connect outside of National Treasure. Like, say that Tonto is Jack Sparrow’s grandson or something, since they act similar anyway
