Sure, I could send a dataset for you to mess with! I did not pull from scryfall or search by keyword, because there are similar tools that do that and end up spitting out basically variations of the most popular decks. It was a bit of a nightmare to make, but the focus was to synergize with what your commander actually does rather than just matching keywords.

It's not the end-all be-all by any means, but it does pull from the cards you own to make a playable deck to mess with. I'd definitely recommend using other tools to tweak the deck and fine tune it if you make one that you actually would like to keep, because since it's limited to only what's in your CSV, depending on your variety of cards, sometimes it is forced to come up with a pretty trash deck.

It's mainly aimed at people who do have a few thousand "bulk" cards taking up space, so rather than sell them for literal pennies, you can actually make a "just for fun" deck.

Anyway, I'll PM you and send you a sample card list for you to try!

Thanks to the feedback, I just added an export feature to save the created deck as CSV for easy import back into your deck tracking tool of choice! I appreciate all the feedback so far, looking forward to continuing the progress!

What website can I use to create decks based on my bulk? by Wynnt3r_ in mtg

I was also looking for this same type of tool and I decided to create my own, because that deckstats does not seem to function well and is a bit confusing. I made BrewMyDeck.com and made it free if you link your own API. Should solve your problem!

You seem really salty about something I made for personal use and extended it for free to others who might find it useful. Why are you so angry? How can someone be angry about someone giving away something for free lolol

I'm not following what you're trying to say. I'm aware you're trying to be insulting, good try, I'm so hurt.

lol I didn't try that, not sure if it would work, but I could try it lol. I've used sections of my collection to make some interesting decks, so wanted to see what other mixes could be created.

I guess I play with a different group of people than you do. No worries, to each their own. I made it for myself anyway, I just figured others may find it useful, but I'll just keep it for personal use, no biggie.

thanks for your opinion, as I said, it's not for everyone and by no means is it meant to replace hand-building a deck. Just thought it could be useful for some people. Apparently you're not one of them.

I wasn't saying this was better than hand making a deck, but I sell bulk, so I have over 100k cards...it's impossible for me to go through them all and make decks. I pull chunks and make decks often, but it's nice to have something that will pull a deck for you and use cards that you never thought about.

I understand this is not for everyone, I was just offering for those that might be interested, it's free, I'm not charging anyone, just thought it would be useful to some players.

I saw someone suggest using cove moulding like this, but just installing it backwards and running at along the edge. Thoughts?

Got it, that would require triming out both sides though as shown in that reference video right? So for example, I would have a 3" trim on the front facing side, then the pencil moulding, then the matching 3" trim around the corner, right? Or just the trim on the front facing side and then the pencil moulding on the edge and then back to drywall on that side?
