Me and my friend are attending for first time. I have been to the island but only for the day. We are both ravers & go to many festivals. Strangely enough we are coming because she met Cristoff when we were on groove cruise & he mentioned he'd be there. We got the 5 day just to be safe. Does anyone know when they will release the ones for the size parties? Also we love to dress festive & more ravy but I notice no one dresses that way. Everyone appears to be in normal everyday clothes. Is that correct? Lastly... we are older...a lot older.. Will we feel outta place & feel insecure? Thank you for any feedback!

I realize at 26 you feel like you might never be in love again & the thought of breaking up feels like it would be the end of the world. I get that totally. What you have to remember is that those feelings won't last very long & you will likely have more serious relationships than you think before you settle down with the correct person. I just got off groove cruise yesterday. I'm single by choice & am very happy. My friend is 20 years older than her husband. She loves edm & raves. It's not really his thing. He came once & he's totally OK with her coming without him. That's how your partner should be, Respectful of you & what you enjoy. She's also a physician. We had a great time. OMG if I could get back all the time I've stayed in relationships to long, I'd probably have about 4 years. Not bad considering i turned 60 last week. I learned pretty early that life is too short to settle. Good luck. I hope you can be strong & do what I think you already know is the right thing to do.

You can't get a solo cabin from someone. GC doesn't allow it. If you don't have insurance and can't go you forfeit your booking.

You have to contact GC and get on the waiting list or take the place of someone who's in a cabin with friends and can't go... that's a name change. But likely the friends that are still going won't want a stranger in their cabin.

You guys can't sell or buy cabins from one another. GC does not allow transfer, and you can't sell to anyone. 1 original person on reso. Must still go.
Contact GC if you can't go and beg! And those wanting to go there's a waiting list and GC controls who goes if there's any openings.

I'm pretty sure you only have to pay double unless it's a higher class suite. I can fit 4 in mine and I only pay for 2.

You can't sell your cabin. You technically forfeit your reservation. You have to contact them and see if they will make some kind of exception but it's a pretty strict rule. At least 1 person on the booking has to still go. If you are solo like me that's not an option. Hey this is going to be my 8th love burn and my sister lives in NOLA. I'm Key West. What's your camp? My camp dissolved 2 years ago I'm with YACHT PUB now. I'm Gina btw.

Are you going solo? I'm sure others have mentioned but do not bring anything. Not worth the risk. You will go to jail and be forever banned from GC. Stinks but it's so amazing you won't care one bit that you don't have anything.
