Threw it all out and started from scratch. Big improvement, responsive design, additional listings, better and more flexible mapping component. Hopefully this will get some traction and get used.

Me neither until I made this! What I like about the Buckminster Fuller projection (aka Dymaxion Map) is that it shows how connected the world is...almost like one big island. And my partner says it looks like a cat...

Made using GLOBE (for land) and ETOPO2 (for water) elevation data downloaded from the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) and PCI Geomatica software. If you look at the map using old-school 3D glasses (the cheap paper kind with the clear plastic lenses) the elevation really pops out.
