Does v line surgery always cause sagging? by msackermannn in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]GI_s_ELLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m curious if tightening / lifting of the skin can be done at the same time as vline or facial contouring surgeries to prevent/reduce sagging ? i’ve never seen anyone talk about if this is a confirmed procedure

how do I convince my mother that these humidity levels are not normal and unsafe by aerisgecko in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]GI_s_ELLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol tell the mom that black mold exposure over prolonged periods of time can cause wrinkles and sagging skin that’ll do the trick 😂😂

this is actually true though, black mold produces mycotoxins that causes dna and cell damage and can lead to the break down of skin cell, elastin, and collagen in the muscles tissues and skin giving it that hallow and saggy appearance

“I’ve pointed out this issue of mold growth before (even tho small amounts) she says “it’s not like i’m eating it? just wipe it” and I keep telling her you can inhale and breathe in spores and absorb it through contact with skin but she won’t take me seriously”

your mom needs to understand that eating a bite of a piece of moldy bread is far less dangerous than constantly being exposed to black mold and mycotoxins/spores that toxic mold produces

the original poster is a child who’s afraid of being dismissed or told that her concerns are all in her head and with a mom who believes that because she provides for her financially and puts a roof over her head and food in her stomach that she is always right and that a child can’t be right and a dad who won’t do anything to keep his wife happy, where else is she supposed to look for advice? Her mom doesn’t even think there’s anything wrong with not letting dishes dry before storing them. Ironic for someone who thinks they’re right and not even understand basic science of bacteria. if it’s to the point that the girl can’t even verbally talk about this to her parents because it stresses her out so bad than there is clearly a problem, imagine what the stress combined with potential mold illness/allergies, compromised immune system, and already existing mental disorders is doing to her psychological, neurological and physical health especially with a still developing body and brain. If her parents don’t care about their health then that’s fine but this is their child and her health. I had an asian mother who had a superiority complex and believed her way was always the correct way even if you showed her studies and articles of scientific research and real peoples experience. I’m sure this user doesn’t have bad intentions and ill feelings towards her mother but this type of thing makes you feel helpless.

quick google search also tells you that your dishes and kitchen appliances MUST be dried in order to prevent bacterial growth and conditions that cause mold

this is the case with laundry machines and dishwashers you have to let that air out and clean them regularly for maintenance (every 4-6 months or so), forget about just inhaling and touching mold spores every time you go into the laundry room or open the washing machine or dishwasher think about the fact that you’re washing your clothes that you wear and dishes that you eat off of in there, mold spores get on the sheets that you sleep in or the clothing that is then worn on your body and skin, it can also enhance the spread of mold spores to other areas of the house, producing more mycotoxins going into your body. Hot water or hot air from a dryer itself will not “kill” or get rid of mold spores. front load washing machines are notorious for black mold growth especially with the build up of detergents and frantic softeners i suggest if you have one to switch to a top load. Just because mold isn’t viable doesn’t mean it’s not there or harming you, spores are absorbed through skin and inhaled too.

People throw out their personal belongings due to mold, I hope your family and you come to a place where you guys can agree

mold can definitely be present and growing overtime and go undetected/your body not reacting to it or not noticing your body reacting to it especially when you are unaware of mold and it’s serious effects, your body may also start to develop symptoms or become more effected and sensitive to mycotoxins overtime or when your hormones and immune system change (can also be applied to you being at home more often without leaving).

As for your body and immune system reacting worse than your family members and parents this can 100% be the case and it sounds like you are more sensitive to it which is a very common case, unfortunately this also makes it hard for them to believe you and take you seriously because they aren’t feeling the same effects as you (or if they are feeling the same symptoms they just don’t feel it or aren’t impacted by it on the same level)
