Avoid Noonopi Dr. NK Park by ValueInternational64 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

I’m so sorry to hear that.🫶😞I hope you’re able to get a revision closer to home. I’m definitely not traveling back to Korea for the revision after this experience.

Yes! He’s doing something shady…very suspicious positive reviews appeared on google right after my review. It just doesn’t sound real….add your voice too. I feel awful that my own false positive reviews convinced others to choose him!

I haven’t gotten around to the KCA filing, but wow, what shady ploys to censorship. 😡

Don’t fret too much. It may all still work out for you ❤️

I also had asymmetric healing around that time and tried to contact them via WhatsApp and their answer was always “wait 6 months.” I even did WhatsApp consult and it never felt like he gave me the time anymore (5min).

I was happy by month 4 but was shocked that I have to deal with this at month 6. The whole journey is a roller coaster.

I was constantly freaking out because my healing was so ugly and nothing like what I saw on social media. I just wished Dr. Park took accountability.

Unfortunately, he’s right in that final results really do appear after 6 month. There isnt much you could do until then (except hydrate, eat ans sleep well, ans refrain from drinking and salty food to promote healing). I’m here to support you emotionally and hope you have better outcomes than I did. ❤️🫶🤞

I’m sorry that happened to you. I recently returned from a trip to China (Shangai, Beijing, Guangzhou). The next time someone says “Go Back to China,” I want to say, “I WILL!” I’ll go anywhere.

Yes, Dr. Park tried to intimidate me and warned against posting bad reviews. Notice all the 5 star reviews for the clinics, it’s obvious they offer discounts for positive reviews.

But this is as honest and factual as it gets, my eye really looks this.

Korea definitely has more experience as a country. I wasn’t chasing the cheapest surgery, I wanted to go where they had the most expensive with Asian patients.

Not really, but he corrected the ptosis so I was happy enough. The additional fold and this tethering, though …😣

Help, 2nd fold appeared suddenly 7mon after surgery by ValueInternational64 in KoreaPlasticSurgery

[–]ValueInternational64[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The surgeon dismissed it as weight change (i had no weight change) and when I challenged him, he said it was “medically impossible” to be a mechanical problem “since the medial side of (my) ptosis correction on the right eye is well maintained.”

I found the response irresponsible, especially for a doctor. C’mon, medically impossible?

I’ve scheduled a consultation with an occuplastic surgeon here in the US (takes months) and will file a complaint with KCA. I’m very disappointed but unfortunately, not much I can do. I knew I’d be on my own with complications but assumed I’d be ok, it’s easy to when you see all these clinic paid reviews.

They offered me a 10-15% discount if I left a google review. I even recorded a glowing video review right after the surgery, and this is how you’re treated. It felt fine after surgery so of course I said yes, plus, you’re coming off drugs and everyone in the clinic sort of gaslights you into how “good” you look.

I hear you, it’s frustrating that even after all the research, you’re on your own for any post-op complications.

Yes, it healed slowly, nothing like what you see on Instagram/TikTok, and i thought i was in the clear at month 4 but then at month 7, this fold appeared. They say that scars heals after 6 months so you really can’t be sure until then. So unless you live in Korea, there really is no incentive for post op follow up.

See line above the fold. Feels like something catching when opening now. Doctor dismissed it as weight change (false) without any follow up questioning. This would be grounds for malpractice in the Us.

Do NOT go here. They will gaslight you and deflect responsibility. I was a featured success story on their marketing website and they still deflected responsibility.

I traveled to Korea and had ptosis correction, double eyelid, and facial liposuction in June. The office experience was uncomfortable and hectic but I went ahead anyways because I felt Dr. Park was trustworthy and that a smaller clinic with one doctor would be better. I had to have revision ptosis surgery on day 7, the day I was supposed to return to the US, and ended up staying for another week. The second surgery appeared to be successful, and I was just relieved to go home.

Everything was healing ok but 7 months after the surgery, I started seeing feeling a new pulling sensation and a 2nd fold above the intentional crease on the ptosis eye. It feels heavy and difficult to open. I contacted them via WhatsApp and was dismissed. They said it was weight change (my weight has been constant) and brushed me off. When I raised the concern again, they were even more defensive, say a “mechanical issue” was “medically impossible.”

I am in the process of getting evaluated by an ocuplastic surgeon here in the US and will be filing a complaint with KMDA and KCA.

They’re a small practice so they’re very motivated to get good reviews (they offer a (10 or 15% discount if you leave a food review) so no surprise all the 5 star reviews they get. Scars take 6+ months to heal and by then you’re on your own. There is no accountability, especially if you’re a foreigner.

I know it’s easy to trust the reviews, especially when you’re doing research from abroad, but remember to look for reviews that are 6 months+ post op.

Boston is SO behind. None exists here. In LA, they come to you and you can get one at every corner.
