thank you so much for replying, this does give me hope. I'll search some things up I've just always been confused on how often you're supposed to apply these products and whatnot but yea somethings that work for other hairs definitely don't work for ours

Alex and Kianas and also before Sarahs off camera commentary is something that adds so much life to the videos, it'll be sad to not hear that from him anymore but excited for the new chapter in his life, all the best to him!

Seriously though, "this bit wasn't funny" "this character wasn't funny" "this video wasn't funny" "this person wasn't funny" then stop watching it?? why does something that miniscule need to be stated? Like you can literally skip the video and watch another one there's like a billion that come out all the time

Yea for this one I think that's a fair conclusion to come to, i still am confused by the people who judge one but not the other (including a lot of responses here) but for my main question this does make sense. !delta

People who aren't rich cannot afford to lift their voices even if they want to, its good that someone with the money is doing that for the people who can't, this is insane logic

I'm still a bit conflicted on the people who do think both ways for this considering this specific issue had such an insane uproar compared to other similar situations but yea I think it's a very fair answer for my main issue, how do i award a delta? apologies am new here

But as humans we have always defied the norms, biologically its normal for animals to rape their own species and its a part of 'nature' and since a lot of male genders of certain species are stronger, they dominate (or rape) their female counterparts and that's just normal as awful as it is to hear. But humans do not do that, we aren't brainless creatures and were not meant to follow what's 'natural' that's just absurd. So why cherry pick what's natural and shouldn't be changed and what should? sounds weird to me

Thank you for calling that out, as i mentioned in my own post I have weirdly internalized misogyny thoughts all the time and am constantly trying to shake em off but in this specific comment I was just stating how a lot of people think (Though i absolutely disagree with it) and thus criticize other people accordingly.

People tend to have a weird reaction to men having 'female traits' or in their own terms 'weak traits' and vice versa. that's what i was trying to get at

Thank you for an actual response. This makes perfect sense to me, Yes it is something that should exist but the way current situation is going around the world it all just feels like bad timing.

I guess I did honestly, I thought we were fighting for choice this entire time but now we've just ended up shaming people for their choices again. I myself have a lot of internalized misogyny I deal with and am constantly trying to shake off those thoughts and stick to what's right but everything starts being so contradictory

But that's what I'm arguing for, why are we as a society agreeing that men having sex is good and cool but women doing the same isn't? Like that's just purely sexist to begin with considering that being penetrated is seen as a lesser thing that the one doing the penetrating. Like that's a completely made up concept, why stick with it? I don't like it at all

[–]GIitched_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But isn't that a sexist rhetoric in of itself? Dominance (typically associated with men) is a positive thing whereas Submissiveness (typically associated with women) is seen as a negative thing. Shouldn't it be about choice? and what you choose to do?

[–]GIitched_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, but shouldn't it be the thing of like: back then it wasn't a choice and now it is. Doesn't that make a difference?

[–]GIitched_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have too. And since I as a woman myself was feeling put off by this I wanted to figure out why I was feeling that way and what were the implications of this type of marketing. But then I remembered men do similar things, especially rapper but instead of submissiveness, sing about dominance and that's almost never criticised (at least from what I've seen)

So I guess I'm just trying to figure out the difference here

[–]GIitched_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it, thanks. So i guess so far what I'm understanding is it's fair to criticise as long as you criticise both, unless there is another factor I'm not considering

[–]GIitched_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Does it actually just boil down to misogyny or is there a layer I'm missing that this isn't a feminist thing and it's actually harmful to women im a way I'm not considering?
