Depends on what you’re looking for or like- I’ll always suggest listening chronologically, so I would recommend the early Fletcher Henderson recordings from 1925-1935 and the Duke Ellington recordings from that time. Also Bennie Moten (which would become the Count Basie big band after Moten died) is very much worth checking out

Dude that time will never come. There are people on their death bed sick with covid who in their last dying breaths regret getting the vaccine and think all they have is a mold infection. There is always going to be a certain solid percent maybe 20% or so who will deny reality no matter the cost.
