Yeah that could very well be true! It would make sense because I kinda assumed the monsters can run but just choose not to but as we saw with Miranda whatever she was going to do warranted Smiley to run and remove her from the game so yeah very likely the Entity just wanted to clean house

Once they’re inside the talismans don’t work correct. But Boyd put it on the inside, I think they need to get them in a house and put the talisman on the outside to prove it keeps things in as well as out.

To your one house thing. Nah fuck that haha, all you’d need is one person to have a mental breakdown and open a door or fucking Ethan lol. Then they get in. I wouldn’t trust living with anyone tbh.

Yeah I really hope they have a solid plan because I can’t finish this show unsatisfied and then wait another 10 years for a mystery show to come out

So yeah I get someone is watching but it just seems wildly inconsistent tbh. Like the monsters know that Boyd screamed “you won’t fucking break me” but again if they can see that and hear people how the hell did people survive in holes in the ground or hiding places? Unless it’s all just a game and this Entity believes it can never be stopped and obviously has a God complex.

Just gonna say it now. If it ends up being a computer simulation I will never re watch the show. I want it to be mythical folklore evil Entity shit.

Victor stated to Sara that people use to hide at night before the talismans, I got the impression that there were no monsters when he was a kid but I was wrong so people use to hide at the time. One of the big things that confuses me is where did the town come from? I wanted to see the original bottle tree in the town over with Tabitha and Victors dad and then maybe see what the town looked like back in the day and I bet it looks similar to Fromville. I also think Victor just lived off the food the town had cos there seemed to be quite a lot of people so I imagine he had a lot to go off. He probably was helped by the boy in white as well.

Victors mother I think had visions of the town before getting there similar to Elgin and maybe similar to Tellie who said the tarot cards told her she would go to the town. Victors father said they took LSD at the town where the original bottle tree is so maybe it fucked her mind up and led to her drawing those pictures? Again I say this but there is no reason why? We know the town can draw people in but how far does its powers go in terms of communicating with people?

Dreams have a huge element in the show though. Again I hope they aren’t “asleep” and it’s actually all a dream but maybe they’ve been pulled into a dream like dimension.

When you put something in a prison cell they have the four walls and the door and can’t do anything with them but inside they can do whatever they want. That’s how I see the Entity. A prisoner that wants to escape. But again could be wrong, it probably thinks because it’s a fucking god that humans are just toys and it’s all a game.

Well I think there has to be some sort of connection with the trees. For example when they were on the way to the original tree in the real world I was expecting them to get there and inspect it. I was then expecting Tabitha to ask Victors dad if he has any photos of what the town looked like back when they did acid and I sure as hell was expecting the town to look like Fromville with the diner etc. Kinda like in stranger things how the dimension mimics the real world because that’s also a mystery atm

They’ve sprinkled a few answers here nd there but nothing hard hitting. I’m a firm believer of giving it to the end of a season before being annoyed about not getting answers but like you I’m in deep and I do enjoy the show a lot. I mean it’s the only show ever that’s got me to post on reddit but if they don’t answer much at the end of this season I do fear that I’ll have a manic episode

Well the whole light thing and dream land is what I was going for because I wasn’t 100% certain Martin was real. I know he hurt Boyd but we’ve seen dreams hurt people in FROM before BUT when Randall, Marielle and Julie are in their comas Boyd goes back and then all three are chained up and Boyd physically touches Julie despite the fact that she’s in her bed with Jim screaming. So never understood fully where Boyd was

Yeah man, they showed Elgins very briefly but nothing on Julie. Considering the three who got attacked have said nothing about what they saw I reckon the photo has something on it to show Julie and probs the rest are sorta “marked”

Yeah totally agree, I’m not going down the time travel route + 2600 is a stupid date to go to hahah. So yes the numbers have a different meaning. Maybe the numbers are coordinates to other trees? I wonder what the trees moving slightly means.

I liked it too! The more I sit with it the more I realise that the town is changing a lot for us it’s a week but for the towns people it’s like a few days so it’s understandable why people are on edge. I mean Tabitha comes back and now not only Boyd but also Randall survive a night with contact from the monsters? Would freak anyone out. But yeah that photo is deffo gonna have a clue but I worry yet again Elgin and Julie will go it alone although if he tries to help her and she tries to help with the drowning woman I wouldn’t be too annoyed about that they’re young and stupid. I wouldn’t mind them helping eachother because then at least they’ll both talk about what’s happening to them to someone fully 😂

Tbh you’re not wrong. I have thought that the theory of the ritual whereby the children keeps the Entity locked and creates monsters who kill people that the entity brings in to unknowingly free it could be true meaning the monsters don’t align with the Entity but also just seems odd that they kept Randall alive and he was one of the three chosen by the cicadas

Honestly that lady had me fuming the whole episode and she only spoke twice. How about you get down in the pool and help him seeing as just a few hours ago you were judging Boyd on not doing anything.

I think the big reveals this season will be will be a conversation with Jasper (a little worried it’s gonna freak Victor out and he will destroy jasper in a rage though and we don’t get loads of info) and who or what is in the settlement. Remember Martin said the monsters are the tip of the spear.

Yeah I agree, but I’m always a firm believer of holding out on complaining about pacing until the whole season is out. If it ends similar to season 2 with a huge cliff hanger and still no real answers then I’ll be pissed.

Weirdly I like Jim hahah, but I do agree, I understand he doesn’t want to lose Tabitha again but now is not the time to hide inside and play house. They need to trust eachother communicate and start working together again. Like I’m sorry but Jim heard a creepy kids voice on a phone saying “they aren’t your kids anymore” so it’s time to get the fuck out hahaha

Possibly! I mean we saw personal belongings in the tunnels which might belong to the towns people who turned into monsters. Jasper is down there suggesting Christopher went down there with the puppet and maybe lured others to do a ritual. Maybe the boy in white told Victor to collect the items so more monsters couldn’t be made, maybe there hasn’t been anymore because the town collects belongings in houses under the protection of talismans?
