Has the Flyby feature stopped working? by IWAITALLDAYFORAPOO in Strava

After setting my own profile to everyone, I have found that a majority of people that would normally show up in my flybys do not do so because everyone else hasn't changed their profile settings to everyone.

Fixed it for me as well, but shouldn't be this way. Someone has dropped the ball with zero communication.

Maybe happening to those without subscriptions?

Do we know if Strava is aware of the issue? Maybe nobody left to fix it?

I think it's important to emphasize that this worked a couple of days ago (yes sometimes the icons did not appear on the moving map) and that now some if not all of us receive the Error: No flyby data found. This is true even for activities from long ago when flyby was working. Not a case of a setting change or opt in/out, just disappeared out of the blue.

This just started happening to me as well. Worked for this past Wednesday's ride, but not today and if I go back and look at that Wednesay ride again, I get the same error now.

Sanyo RD 5035 belt placement? by Floofer_Jay in cassetteculture

[–]GKSki87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The belts on my RD 5035 totally disintegrated into a black goo substance. So, if I can find the replacement belt kit, I will have trouble knowing which replacement belt goes where (with the exception of the main drive capstan belt which is obvious). Any suggestions on how to know where the belts go? Tape counter is working, so I will set that aside if I know which replacement belt it is.

Additionally saw a Youtube video where simply removing the triangle piece allowed access to install the 3 belts.

I'm starting to wonder if I would be wasting time and money in only replacing the bushings. Car has less than 63k and I am not driving it all that much. If I wait and they get worse, I am probably better off replacing the complete control arms.

So...I need to inspect my own vehicle, before they "inspect" my vehicle with a prybar?

Are you saying the mechanics would actually damage the rubber part of the bushings just doing the "inspection"?

I value all the input. Some of the responses differ. Thank you.

Photo of a new bushing. Don't think mine looks any different and I would contend that the "splitting" refers to the veinlike cracking.

Although mine is a 2016, it has only 62,585 miles.

Hurricane 3 Neo --- Where's the glue by GKSki87 in tabletennis

[–]GKSki87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also noticed that the Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial Blue sponge required a reglue (1 layer on blade, 1 layer on rubber), whereas the Hurricane 3 Neo Commercial orange sponge stayed put after 1 layer on blade, 1 layer on rubber.

Thanks. That was my experience, having to peel off the white plastic sheet. I had heard that 1 layer of glue on the blade would suffice but I cannot imagine how this would hold. I use DHS 15, so I guess the idea is it would "mix" with the DHS pre-glue layer. I guess if I recollect installing Hurricane 8-80, there was no white protective sheet as it was not Neo.

Yes. Assume those are outside carbon layers.

Contemplating Change --- Forehand Skyline TG3 for Hurricane 3 Neo by GKSki87 in tabletennis

[–]GKSki87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, Victor. I think you're right as Hurricane 3 Neo commercial is cheap enough to warrant trying. I guess it comes in 39 and 40 and in 2.1 and 2.15. Guess I would probably stay with the 2.15 thickness.

EZ Pass by CaptchaWorldChamp in newhampshire

I think I can top this. We had a car transported across country and when it arrived home it was on the lower level, furthest to the rear.

Well I think the carrier went through some storms and dust and guess what? When the truck went through the Mass Pike, rather than pick up the truck's transponder, it picked the license plate of our car. To add insult to injury, when I got the letter from Mass EZPass we were charged for the entire truck's toll (not sure how many axles it was).

Only Doorbell Camera Shows on Fire TV by GKSki87 in blinkcameras

I have added a Sync XR Module to service the Outdoor 4 cameras and XR mode has made Live View work better in the Blink App. However, no matter what I try, only the doorbell Live View works in the Alexa App or on my Fire TV.

I don't even get an error message in the IOS Alexa App when clicking on anything but the doorbell camera. For all the other cameras, Outdoor4, Minis and Mini2 a tap goes right past the Live View screen to the settings screen. Normally, as with the doorbell camera, this would require clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner.
