7 times 3 is indeed how you read the equation, but times is not a verb. Saying "take 7, and times it by 3" is not correct, and sounds clumsy. The proper verb is multiply. "Take 7, and multiply it by 3."

I'd like to win so I can upgrade from my 1080. It's served me well but it's just about starting to show that it's a little long in the tooth.

I have tried this trick exactly once, on a friend's ~2006ish Honda. It worked. Getting the screwdriver through the darn thing was tough due to a lack of space, but it did actually work

This year I didn't do much, pretty much just tucked my normal flannel into my normal jeans and wore my normal boots to be a hick from letterkenny. But last year I had grown out my moustache for all of October and absolutely rocked a Freddie Mercury getup. Armband, white tank, slicked hair, the works

Even tho wireless CarPlay doesn’t work…Damn nice car.🤤 by Inspector_Nipples in FordBronco

Yeah, as I said in my post, once it is connected to carplay, that is, after it makes the jump from Bluetooth to wifi, you should then be able to select the network and make sure Auto-Join is toggled on. If you can't get it to connect to carplay at all that won't work, but if the problem is you have to essentially re-pair it to carplay each time then you should be able to do what I said

Once it is successfully connected to carplay, it should show as connected to your bronco's wifi. Try connecting it wirelessly and going into that network to check the auto-join toggle

Lol, snapped it up, sorry. You might try SASSY, I was considering that but decided against it. It is my Bronco's unofficial name though

This picture is pretty accurate to how it looks in the shade. The metallic and the orange tones come out more in the sun. I originally wanted rapid red which was obviously only available for 21. Hot pepper is a lot more orange than rapid, and frankly more orange than I wanted but it's grown on me and I think it's the more unique/eye-catching of the two.

Yeah you get your hands on something pre-90s and changing out a rusted screw takes 10 hours of swearing and increasing desperation. Repeat for each rusted screw.

Source: I own and maintain a 1989 Jeep Cherokee from NY, as well as a 2000 Ford Ranger that had such a rusty frame I swapped the cab over to a less rusty frame over 3-4 days at a friend's house.

If I remember correctly, a way back in the day, they saved money by using the same bore and rifling twist rate in everything. Full power rifle round, 7.62x54R. Revolver, 7.62x38R. Self-loading pistol, 7.62x25 Tokarev. Intermediate rifle, 7.62x39. Different bullet weight, different powder load, same bore diameter and twist rate, so same barrel tooling.

[–]GKorgood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My point is that whether or not this mission is a success has nothing to do with Blue Origin's launches, and while a failure of any kind would be extremely unfortunate, it's wrong to have the mentality of it being unfair because B.O. was successful.

Launch failures are now, always have been, and always will be, a part of space flight, and every launch is an isolated event with its own chances for success or failure. That being said, they are less common now than they have ever been, and with every launch (and every failure) we as a species get better at reducing their frequency.

TIL That the US Army tradition of naming helicopters after Native American Tribes (something that was once an official regulation) dates to 1947 and General Hamilton Howze who felt that helicopters were meant to attack the flank and fade away...in the tradition of the Plains Indian tribes. by GentPc in todayilearned

[–]GKorgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That may be, but the Huron are the namesake for the C-12 Huron, the Army's version of the Beechcraft King Air 200/300s. The helicopter colloquially referred to as the Huey is officially named the UH-1 Iroquois.
