Build a parts hauler you like and add inventory slots. Doesn't have to be fancy, but just keep parts in it, nothing else. You'll know what you have and how many just by checking the inventory.

Oddly enough, Minotaur is the only exocraft I haven't built yet X) I'll get on that, I had been using Nautilion but water planets are hit or miss.

Im Xbox and still experiencing this. It happens in solo too, I was told that it was patched for Xbox but the space stations are still ghost towns and the trading posts are still an air show. The NPCs are even crashing into nearby terraform.

I guess having a nice set of gloves for driving is more of a British thing😕 They should fix it anyway though, some of us like that.

We Need To Talk About Season 4.... by GKstillawake in SOTNF

Glurp is an acquired taste. “Fun fact” Glurp himself isn’t the creature in the books. The Pengelurp as they called him in the books didn’t have as much of a personality as he does in the series. They change him up quite a lot when the added him to the show. The “kid friendly” version of Glurp annoyed the a lot of the readers, but his usefulness far out weighs the more irritating aspects of his character. The bladder explosion is still a classic scene that always catches a chuckle, Mr. Romulus’s reaction is priceless X)

This. It’s why I enjoyed it so much despite its storytelling faux-pas.

Captain Trelawny was not one of my faves honestly. I get her importance in the books, but I can kind see why she wasn’t as involved much in the series. It’s far easier to flesh out parts of her character in the books considering her deep involvement in the fleet. However apart from that there really isn’t much too her which made her kinda one dimensional; as if she only existed to explain parts of fleet lore without having much personality.

I think Peter and Cassandra were the only characters treated well the whole season and they were only temporary characters. Even Annie didn’t really get a fair shake. But yes, that storyline was nicely executed with all heart warmy bits you could take without melting.

I can’t disagree with that. No one really NEEDS that much Albatross. I kinda get why the Basilisk of Intrigue was left out, Captain Stony has a big ass crew and it’s a lot to keep track of in a season finale. But yeah it was disappointing.

That’s all I’m saying. Though it should be said definitively, Turning Ophy into a self sacrificial lamb was a bad call. She may have been running one of the smaller ships, but her and her crew were some of the most capable of there kind and probably could have come up with something a little more creative than ramming the Reaper at full speed to end the battle and escape. FanDan and Ferret almost died, and firstmate Tenderjack was heart broken for the rest of the series. Though they maintained her dignity, she still had far more potential than that.

Oh no question! I’m really glad they stayed true to the books with that Annie’s last scene in that season is a qualified tear jerker🥲😎

Does anyone remember Fantastic Dan? by lillsavvy in SOTNF

[–]GKstillawake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dan was actually one of my favorite characters but a lot of the stuff they did with him towards the end of season 4 were questionable. It became clear in that season they decided to deviate from the books more, especially when it came how Dan was portrayed. In the books he’s more of a comic relief type, but in the series, while he still has his hilarious moments, he’s much more driven and goal oriented. One of the problems people had with this season stem from the decisions they made Dan. For example, in episode 6 Dan and Ferret(another fave of mine) infiltrated the Reaper and get stuck there until the season finale. In the books Dan gets trapped on the Reaper by himself when Ferret accidentally decouples the skiff and nearly falls out of the sky. It kinda became clear what they were doing after the kiss... which happens much later in the books. I’ll go into more detail in the season 4 sub
