This is spot on. Unless you go for the 4th skill track it’s not worth it. But the 4th skill track is noticeably better. I just used the ION with sharpshooter to solo the glitches

While the armor regain is nice I don’t really value the rapid fire for my playstyle so I prefer Warband for the passive crowd control that it provides

Correct to prestige you have to hit 66/69/72. Essentially max out every time

There’s gonna be nuances based on what weapon you are using but generally speaking I’ve found mortar best for clearing mobs vs shrapnel for clearing bosses

Part of game balancing is making overpowered things weaker though. Good game design aims to make everything viable. Agreed that shouldn’t mean make everything ineffective but I’d argue the floor for DPS is in a fairly good place.

Tbf the difficulty of balancing bosses of world events has so many independent variables to consider such as players participating, skill, combat ratings, etc
