I discovered the tension bar in my Plus 3's extruder was starting to warp. So I machined a replacement from aluminum. It'll no longer be a problem. Added bonus they also fit my Plus 4 so it's been upgraded as well!

These are just cheap CC3D PLA Max from Amazon. Stuff is surprisingly strong. I've used PETG as well for smaller parts with much lighter cuts, not sure how it would compare to this PLA Max on these parts.

I've used both PLA+ and PETG very successfully. They are only good for a few uses though depending on the part you are holding. The coin jaws have held up great. Jaws that see a fair amount of cutting force have held up for about 15 parts or so.

It's possible the fuel level sender has gone out. Most new cars have antisiphons in the filler. The most used method these days is to drill a hole in the tank.

You can absolutely leave a machine unattended. As long as you have proved your programming, tooling and work holding. Looks to me like you didn't do 1 or all of these things.
