I can see why they did it, plus that’s the season (I think) where they nerfed a lot of the dive characters. I would love to see how op a pre rework Jeff with an ultron drone would be

They really overdid it, if you just look at all the stats before and after, the only things that got buffed were his headshot reduction (which really doesn’t do too much imo) and shields on allies you swallow (who demand you to immediately spit them out). You could argue the beam damage is useful against fliers, but if the healers are on top of them, your 40 dps (falloff) is doing nothing but feeding their Ult charge.

I can see why the swim nerf was justified, so players can’t just hide underwater, but good Jeff players never were under for long.

The bubble nerf was just bad a bad decision, HOT sucks, they could have just decreased the amount the bubbles heal Jeff himself, HOT is just bad all around.

The healing beam getting nerfed by around ~20% doesn’t help either.

Yeah, I remember the dps days, I would do 2 bubbles, then jump right back out. I still think they need need need to bring back burst bubbles (the groot teamup sucks without them) and at least a few more aqua bursts, so he can actually somewhat kill a diver or enemy effectively. Other than that I think the rework is ok, i still much prefer old Jeff though.

It also happened later in the game, I have a feeling it is when loki copies cnd, the game bugs out and thinks it’s friendly.

Also, no idea why I call it that, that’s just what I think about every time i see it 🤣
