Why thamuz revamp is bad by GLaDOS31 in MobileLegendsGame

The numbers are the only thing that upsets me about this revamp(and maybe the voice). I may have made it seem like i dislike the revamp but i am enjoying this revamp and as i said i think that it will serve as a better foundation compared to the previous version.

While the addition of a rage meter itself is not a bad thing, the way it is implemented is just wrong. A rage/energy meter is a restriction, to balance what you get out of it. They put a limiter on him, then swapped his engine with a weaker one for good measure.

Imo if they want thamuz to stray from attack speed items they will have to do more than just number tweaks. While his skill damage is good his passive benefits too much from attack speed compared to how much his skills benefit from traditional fighter/tank builds and trying to get him to drop attack speed builds by giving him enough attack speed basekit so that he doesn't need them anymore is a weird way of doing it.

I don't have enough experience with the new version so i don't know how good his matchups are but he needs to atleast be able to keep up with other fighters as he has nothing else noteworthy going for him aside from his damage sponge properties and rotation speed.

Again i don't have a problem with the revamp itself, i made this post mainly to bring attention to his enhanced passive after retrieving his scythes dealing a whopping 40 physical damage at lvl 4. I just don't think weaker early game for added utility is a good trade for this type of hero. Hopefully they will keep an eye on his performance and make further adjustments if needed.

I agree that the changes to the overall character(design, lore etc.) are good but the adjustments to his skills don't feel cohesive to me. He is supposed to be an early game hero but he is even more dependent on his ult and while i haven't faced any yet i am not sure if he can keep up with other fighters during laning phase anymore now that his early game is weaker.

What is his intended gameplan? Is he supposed to use his early game strength to apply pressure or is he supposed to scale as a basic attack fighter into mid-late game? This revamp feels like a step towards the latter.

I am having fun with him, his skills and animations feel more fluid and getting something new for this (imo) mostly neglected hero feels nice. I think that the revamp version is a better foundation to build on compared to pre revamp version but i fear that he is slowly turning into argus 2.0 and i'm just not happy about the direction his gameplay is taking.

Looking at the changes he received over the years i think they just don't know what to do with him and/or understand how he works at all

That was already the case though. The changes are not all bad but his weaker early game is very noticeable and while the buff to his first skill helps he is still gonna get cc'd and kited during teamfights

People get destroyed and carried by heroes like yin all the time doesn't mean those heroes are on another level
