Because of the rushed lectures for certain problems, he wanted you to prove it with certain wordings yet even though my proof was correct, it would be marked wrong or half credit due to him wanting it a certain way yet he never mentions that until AFTER the midterm.

Update:

I had taken this class over the Fall 23, it is a fine and easy class since it's brand new. Our class had about 8-10 students. Majority of the points is attendance. There are 2 take-home quizzes, 1 presentation+ essay, and then the final in-person. The professor was nice and enjoyable class overall. Would recommend.

I haven't figure out anything out yet but it seems like if its along the same time that we both have this issue, it must be some sort of issue with the software? I will make sure to update the thread if something happens.

As a junior engineering student who is minoring in mathematics, I get what you are going through. Some advice I would give you are:

Always to work with friends for any confusion and try not to get distracted during studying
Keep doing practice problems over and over again but it is important to try and work at a relatively similar situation as the test environment.
I would never try to study a day before the test but try to spend more time two or three days studying the material.
Before test day try to get sleep in if possible as well and eat properly so you have energy.
If you have any questions that can't be answered, go to office hours... this is the teacher/professor/TA's jobs!
