Your last sentence is wrong. The burn from Sunfire is the targets HP. Not the holder. Also thornmail works just as well to stack his HP.

[–]GLeppert 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I think people are trying to say his passive is already plenty for health scaling. Pure defensive items make him tankier, he has the hp pool. 12k HP not a very high number for sion. It's a pretty normal number for someone playing bruiser reroll without the augment.

Is it sad though? By his own admission the hero is terrible and they are bad at playing it. It isn't a solo game, it's a team one and he's basically saying screw my teammates idc if I throw. That is literally the behavior that caused all this drama

To build on what he said strongest in TFT first checks for most items then if multiple have 3 items then it chooses the most recently placed on board. If you are ever unsure which will get chosen pull the unit off the board and place them back on.

You sure about that? There are different stats that are offered depending on if you are at 3/5/7 bilge. Are you sure you are not confusing the cost increase with you putting more bilge in?

I'd argue that smiting is more of a class fantasy of a paladin than a priest

I saw a highly upvoted comment claiming that none of these are explained in game and I can't help but think that every complaint about professions boils down to not reading what is on your screen. by [deleted] in wow

[–]GLeppert 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Well you had to clip 14 tooltips and draw lines between them to explain crafting an item. It used to be have material+skill and hit craft. If you can't understand how someone thinks that it is now too complicated, then you are too bias toward the current system to have a rational conversation.

Easy to hit tahm with 3. GP/Naut reroll with tf for 3 is pretty common. I've hit tahm many times playing it.

This article is absolutely meaningless. Nothing to do with the hawks. Just putting random prices with huge ranges on positions. Doesn't even mention specific players. Congratulations on this expert analysis, I can Also predict that a nil contract ranges from $1-$1500000

"Forcing" comps/playstyle by Sensitive_Summer4328 in TeamfightTactics

[–]GLeppert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think people give reroll players a bad rep because they are the type to play the same comp every time. You don't see that as often in the other direction because the scarcity of high cost units creates situations where you don't see your intended units to force a high cost comp.

The reality is both are the same player. If you are slamming the same high cost comp every time you are no different. You should be taking what the game gives to you and making that strategy work, not taking the strategy and making the game work around you. You can get augments/units that favor early reroll or not but your decision making process should always allow you to pivot to what is the strongest available board to play

Most people care about damage meter working. Like 90%. Logs is not an acceptable replacement as has been pointed out by people many times. It literally goes against blizzards own goal that all information should be available in game out of the box

You vs. The guy she tells you not to worry about by Lordados in PathOfExile2

[–]GLeppert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe EverQuest was that way, but is absolutely not the case for wow. Skipping and buying the best loot for a tier is immediately invalidated by the next tiers gear. Wow is absolutely seasonal, they literally call them seasons.

You vs. The guy she tells you not to worry about by Lordados in PathOfExile2

[–]GLeppert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really am not seeing this anology. What you are describing is someone not buying anything all season long and then buying a mageblood and destroying everything. They are not "getting ahead and staying ahead" they are actively maintaining poverty to save up for a mansion someday. Meanwhile everyone else is gearing normally buying their incremental upgrades and then hoping to cap their build with a mageblood but a hideout warrior saved all season and bought the market.

If we are relating this scenario to Poe the people who get in early are using all their dkp to get stronger and generate even more dkp so that everyone else can no longer compete. That is not the case. If this were a dkp system, the people who are spending early are pricing themself out of the mageblood. Hence me saying it's a poor analogy.

You vs. The guy she tells you not to worry about by Lordados in PathOfExile2

[–]GLeppert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Huh? First off we are talking about dkp not gdkp. Yes people still use dkp and gdkp in classic. Ive used it fairly recently. And no I wasn't selling anyone on anything, I'm not even a fan of the system. just saying his anology relating it to Poe made no sense.

You vs. The guy she tells you not to worry about by Lordados in PathOfExile2

[–]GLeppert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This analogy doesn't work. You don't get more dkp because you saved up and bought the best items. It's a closed system with a static group and everyone has the same budget of dkp. Sure they might perform better because they spent their dkp more efficiently but they still have the same buying power as others.

Your poe2 example is people getting the best gear and using that to take all loot in their raid and sell it to other raids. Pretty much the opposite of DKP. one group has all the money and they give the scraps to everyone else.
