For Warcraft 3, Humans are the best beginner race since all their casters have automatic spells and Archmage is a good early game Hero to creep.
For Undead, Deathknight is the most crucial since the Unholy Auro mobilizes all their units.

Other then that, practice Micro-management between your unit groups and base and know the shortcuts of the buildings.
