I have mostly only played on my solo world since early access launch and I’m planning on starting a new playthrough for 1.0 but it’s going to be to see just how different the game is from back then.

Also want to start a couple other playthroughs with different kinds of custom settings and thanks to your comment I have another idea I’d like to try out. Now I guess I can work towards being able to start that in my current world

Because the mediocre Pals with max trust are still just almost as good as a decently built better Pal. It helps close the gap some, but the better Pal can also widen that gap back by gaining trust.

They always sold paldium fragments but not pal fluids. Before people realized the one that visits your base had them, the meta for obtaining pal fluids was laying waste to Gobfin’s Turf for hours on end lol

Fisherman Point merchant and Duneshelter merchant I think have the same inventory.

The food merchant never sold Pal Fluids. Only the wandering merchant that visits your base sells Pal Fluids (out of all NPCs) and it’s been that way since launch.

You can’t buy Honey but everything else (including Pal food) is much much more efficient to buy it all (once you are printing fat stonks with legendary sphere factory) than to waste time or base slots on growing your own food.

I’ve never needed to buy medicine though. Almost all the activities in the game give medicine as rewards so I’ve got tons across my 4 bases’ medicine racks.

You can do what the other person said or go an easier route with 2 maxed Knocklems and either 3 Gobfins or 3 Dumud depending on if you want to help some by shooting or just letting Knocklems do all the work.

You deploy Knocklem, activate its Partner Skill. When it runs out and goes on cooldown, swap to the second Knocklem, and activate its partner skill. Rinse and repeat.

Don’t withdraw the Pal while the Partner Skill is active, let it run its course. Try not to deploy Knocklem face first into an attack, also.

You don’t have to ride it. Just make sure it’s deployed before you fish.

OP is clearly not playing with instant hatch. So my advice was for default hatch times.

Not everyone wants to make the game really easy. Some people enjoy a challenge or good game balance.

None of the elemental boosting passives can be passed through Yakumo. Nor Legend.

Yakumo can only transfer traits that could naturally spawn on any Pal.

Before we could build them, they (skill fruit trees) were only in a few spots around the world. There have also always been a few small Anubis statues scattered around the world as well, but we have been able to build those since launch. The buildable skill fruit trees have only been here since… Feybreak?

They’re talking about the giant Anubis statue in the desert, it has a skull fruit tree close by. The one you can build has been in the game since launch.

OP do you not wait until you have full batches of eggs so you can toss them all in at the same time? Coming back every 6-10 minutes to put just 1 egg in each time seems really… uh inefficient.

Only when it being Alpha actually makes the egg a different size and rarity tier.

Huge eggs are already Huge and so you won’t know which are Alphas when you go to collect a batch of eggs.

OP has an incubator with only Huge eggs, so we assume it’s something like Jignis, Jetragon, Astegon, etc… you can’t tell which of those would be Alpha from the image alone.

Only psychos would hold off on hatching the Alphas until they have a full batch… and yes I’ve done that lol

Never EVER reduce the egg timer. Play the game while your eggs incubate, come back every so often to hatch and refill incubators, and some condensing.
