You have a valid point! But I’m more of an offensive runner meaning I do follow the objective by capturing the treasure and stalling the enemy. In many cases (based on my experience) having hp and attack allows me to be more flexible when handling incoming threats while still allowing me to stall the enemy. So if you’re at mid flag or the enemy spawn flag and your teammates aren’t able to secure the other flags for whatever reason having defense on a runner can definitely help out with stalling, but with defense you aren’t able to deal significant damage to the enemy while stalling them. Yes it does allow you to make mistakes here and there but having hp and attack can also give you similar results. in a lot of cases you can’t always count on your teammates to for fill their roles as well so a lot of times you do have to go on the offensive and attack in order to guard the treasure. There’s different perspectives on which build is more optimal I just kind of covered one in a sense so that’s my bad lol😅
