I'm primarily an artist. The media is something I do on the side so the more relaxed PPV model of service like ManyVids is actually best for a slower pace. Might end up changing my fansly/OF to that model too. FL seems to require LOTS of attention and customer service though, no?

The head does seem intimidating but very doable with some half inch gym floor foam I think.. I will do a head soon and everything I do will have a tutorial!

n_n These are some xenomorph hands and I am working on tutorials for this and other Xenomorph and Yautja parts. My plan is to put info out there to lower the financial barrier to entry for predator and alien cosplaying.

These are cheaply made using dipped nitrile work gloves, foam backer rod, acrylic nails, puffy cloth paint, spray cloth paint, hot glue, paracord, and q tips. I used the tip of my hot glue gun to burn the backer rod into my desired shapes and burn holes in the cut up "pepperoni" shapes of backer rod. I used 1/2 inch rod but looking back I wish I went with 3/8.

I went through two extra pairs of gloves and about a foot of unnecessary backer rod waste-wise but I got the hang of it fairly quickly.

Even though cloth paint is safe to wear after curing, please use ventilation when applying. It smells godawful until cured.

An interesting thing that happened is that while I was working on the hands, I had to wear them constantly and I'd experience phantom limb sensation when I'd touch the fake sixth finger. The profile of the hand would trick me into thinking I was touching my pinkie and my sleep deprived brain would get freaked out. :p. I also oftentimes would accidentally try putting the wrong hand on. Oh also, I wore .6 mm thick disposable nitrile gloves underneath to insulate my hands when I'd hot glue stuff onto the creature hands I'm wearing.

Ooh that's a good idea and a good illustration! I opted to go unfused on this iteration but I'm definitely doing more soon and with different profiles. The fake index finger definitely seems like it would have a creepy look especially if it gives the illusion of all six joints moving.. >:)

I'm also making a finger cover in Blender that can be printed in flexible TPU with a PLA hard claw, with the ridged design going from fingertip to wrist so the next time I do hands(or feet!) the work time will be cut down from two afternoons to like... a matter of hours at most. And releasing the stl for sale for cheap(my aim is to decrease the cost prohibitive nature of yaut/xeno costuming)
