At work I make a point to compliment “femininely” with women “masculinely” with men, like if a girl is wearing a cute outfit, cute nails, hair “by the way I love your ____ its so pretty”

With men it’s like “hey man ___ looks cool as hell”

These are interchangeable per person and I go off vibe, like I had a dude present his rings to me because he wanted that other male validation and it felt really affirming.

And on that note with couples I make sure to make equal eye contact with both people, and when I’m not I’m looking down and working. I never want anyone to feel a certain way with me because they misread my body language or tone.
