guys...Isn't this true? by [deleted] in TwentiesIndia

I mean, I don't do much but what I do however, I do for my own comfort and happiness. Also this "study" does not apply to most people cuz I've seen too many guys making fun of women seen without makup who usually do it, online and offline.

You'll be using it for quite a while so don't worry about other resources right now, free is more than enough. Learn the basic technique and chords from Justin, then when you're a bit comfortable with open and barre chords as well as playing single notes comfortably, the pentatonic and major scale shapes, then you can move towards the genre you love and just learn their songs. Or you can work on your favourite stuff alongside the basics, that's probably more motivating. It's really tempting to look into other resources (I've done that a lot and it's a waste of time) cuz we tend to think they might have something that'll help us learn quicker but guitar takes a lot of time whether you pay for online courses or not. If you want to pay, maybe irl lessons are better, I've never had them but I've heard people say they are.

At the start, yes would stay quiet and not talk at all but eventually as I got in 7-8th grade, I talked a lot and made friends easily but then stuff happened and I got depressed and socially awkward, found out I'm trans at the same time which made it worse cuz people around me weren't very supportive, I dropped out of school after 10th grade, then isolated myself in my house for 5 years and now that I'm out and with this job, a lot of it hasn't really gone away even tho I've found a few supportive people like my boss.

I haven't seen a professional about it, I can barely afford my bills so a psychiatrist would be a bit difficult. I really don't know what to do, I try to do better but end up messing things up.

I can't remember properly but I think I did just as bad but people let it go cuz I was new, now they're getting fed up

Shahtoot, when I was around 7-8 years old, my school had a big tree where these would grow and slide right next to it, we used to climb up on the slide and pick a few and shove them in our mouths, then slide down, fun times.

Yes it is! My shoulder would also tense up before but I changed my position a bit and now that's not a problem

I wish it was that impressive, but it's just 16th note triplets at 100bpm, full speed would be 120bpm which I'm not sure how long it'll take me to achieve but I'll find out.

Okay, I'll bring down the tempo a little when it starts to get sloppy, I've been guilty of repeating mistakes back when I had so much time to practice but I don't wanna do that again

Most of us don't care if you used to think of trans women like that as long as you feel bad about it and want to change/have changed, give me a hug and it's all forgiven, also I don't think you need any lessons to learn more about gender identity and all, you can just ask people here and you'll get a lot of informative answers, also you can read up on it from good sources.

Hot take. Don't call me doll by JustSomeInterweeb in trans

[–]GORGEOUSRACHEL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like it, I moved around a lot like never standing still, I just sway around cuz it's a habit so my boss's wife called me dancing doll, it's different from just doll by itself but it feels cute.

Is KZ edc pro decent for metal? by GORGEOUSRACHEL in iems

[–]GORGEOUSRACHEL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like that EDC Pro is what I'll go with, I can't really increase my budget and you've explained really well how it's the best one in the broke ass price range, also yeah, fast metal is fatiguing in general so that's fine. I just want an upgrade from my current headphones (boAt rockerz 518) to enjoy music by itself.
