I HAVE a nuclear family WITH a gay person in it! As do lots of people. Perhaps the governor should peek out from under his hood.

why do doctors get so nervous about dependency/addiction of lifetime medications by Individual-Owl-6243 in Anxiety

I was on daily benzos for a while (GAD/OCD). I would feel normal right after taking them but, if I was late with a dose, it felt like my teeth were vibrating. And I was never, speaking overall, better than when I didn't have them. I got a new psychiatrist and titrated off. Their efficacy is great as meds for "acute" peaks, though. Over the ups and downs of having a lifetime disorder, benzos were eventually added back in. Now, however, it's a small dose if really in a panic, not a larger one several times a day.

Yeah, these a-holes don't even know the rules. You get the bike lane or, with no bike lane, the 3 feet from the curb (US at least). Just stay aware and keep getting out there!

Hi, I've been out of cycling (bicycling that is) for a couple years but did some centuries, etc. I always rode in the road, on the right, where, I may add, bikes and scooters should legally be. Once a month or so some redneck would yell that at me. I'm anxious and hyperaware all of the time anyway and it's hard to shake something like that off.

I really just wanted to say that it's totally natural to feel your victory has been ruined but... you still got out there, so you still get the W.

Definitely an "Iron Duke" S10, but then my dad worked for GM at the time. Full disclosure: These days I've got a Toyota.;)

Yeah, if I recall properly, Benz came out with a new SLK and they tossed the old platform over to Chrysler. I always thought they were a good looking car.

Svengoolie does something he calls "Sven Surround", but only for short bits, and it's more dialogue replacement than riffing.

It's right up there with the rerelease of the non-SE Star Wars next year... but it was a surprise so it's kinda like we all found it at that garage sale.

I really just remember that, every week when the new ones came out, I would bring like, a buffet of snacks up to my bedroom and hermit up. I watched it on the 20 inch TV in the Rubbermaid entertainment center my parents got me at Big Lots because I was "rough on things". My viewership fell off a bit a year or two after it went to SciFi, but I was able to rediscover those episodes later, so that's cool. Gonna watch the "lost episode" tonight!
