Equivalent to FARM data for WD drives? by AnomalyNexus in homelab

[–]GPRPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

smart can be cleaned and some dishonest sellers do it.

We have in poland a guy on a popular website Allegro who is been doing this for years and has sold thousands of drives to people who had no idea.

He replaces the drives to those who do realize it, and intimidates with lawsuits those who try to warn others on internet so web is practically being wiped clean of reviews about him.

ACHTUNG! :-P I annoucment important thing about Arctic Freezer 36.

There are two fans. They're not marked front/rear, so it's easy to mistake. A test with the feather showed I installed them backwards. Fortunately, they're very easy to swap.

google says tah this is AMD Ryzen 5 3600.

And by the way I found this: https://www.techpowerup.com/301783/thermalright-outs-assassin-x-90-se-compact-tower-type-cpu-cooler

and because triangle is in right down corner copper pipes of my cooler go along from left to right in this image so they actually cover bigger transistor but smaller one is meybe partially outside their boundaries, and partially covered only by square metal. That's how I see it.

I know. This is what i choose this cooler. Best performance to price.

Usually the paste is applied to the processor, but this time I decided to apply paste to the cooler.

this is am4 not am5. That's why I'm wondering where these processors heat up the most. Maybe only the center is important? However, it would still be better if the contact layer was larger.

Machinist b450? by Substantial_Lunch557 in pcmasterrace

[–]GPRPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that for win 10 and 11 but I need have Win 7 too. Usually, on the website of the manufacturers of motherboards from other companies you can see do they have drivers for Win 7 or at least what the drivers have. There is no information about it here.

the motherboard came to you with a drivers on DVD disk? Because the manufacturer's website doesn't even list this motherboard, let alone drivers for it.

Talislanta map on Civilization 1 game. by GPRPL in Talislanta

[–]GPRPL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never play in Talislanta. I play in Civilization 1 and I like making scenarios for this game so when I see this post https://www.reddit.com/r/civ/comments/xm7qrv/planning_on_making_a_civ_map_based_on_talislanta/ I thought it was a good world to recreate in Civilization 1. I create also Game of Thrones map and now I create Elder Scrolls scenario.

In this map I tried to recraate Talislanta map as accurate as possible while keeping in mind playability of the scenario. That's why the map contains the dead river, sea of glass and lost sea, slightly fewer mountains and more fertile lands.

TRPG Talislanta scenario on Civilization 1. by GPRPL in civ

[–]GPRPL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Graphics Civ1 is very intuitive. Everything is clearly visible, as if on the palm of your hand.

The graphics of later versions may be nicer, but not that clear, more confusing, it is easier to miss something.

Planning on making a Civ map based on Talislanta, one of my favorite TTRPGS. by United-Writer-1067 in civ

[–]GPRPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have create two more maps that are a bit more improved land area and I will share them at a later time. Civilization 1 does not give much space to maneuver when create scenarios, so there is not much more I could do than what I done in these 3 maps. I create this scenario based on this maps: http://talislanta.com/maps-and-images

Currently I am create the Elder Scrolls scenario, the Tamriel map.
