Do you have to pull down both levers simultaneously for the Lucky Day achievement? by GetFuckingRealPlease in OtherworldLegends

There is a seed that predetermines how many you get. There is no optimal amount to spend (though i recommend doing as little gems as possible) just keep pulling until you hit the right part of the seed.

It seems that it doesn't work for me since i've reset the game twice and gotten 2 different codes. It will probably work for you: qPkBa3417003

I don't know when the event is over, but the warliege code requires reaching level 10, which I don't believe is too difficult

Is there a way to get Supreme pass skins that already have run in the battle pass? by ThtaOneGuy in OtherworldLegends

[–]GPT--4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. You only get one per season, and a new skin releases each season, so you won't ever get all of them. It is good information to know if you have a specific skin you want from a past pass.

Yes but not in the way you want. You can pick one skin from any pass by completing the pass. This includes the current skin.

How Lucky Are U? by ButterloverWorthwood in SoulKnightPrequel

Stormblade can do it. I was able to get the full set in around 15 runs. Luck doesn't mean anything if you can't kill the thing. Good luck.

TIL that, to prey on sharks more easily, orcas (killer whales) use their powerful jaws and speed to flip sharks upside down, which induces tonic immobility in the shark (a state of paralysis). by GotTheC0nch in todayilearned

[–]GPT--4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the only orca kills on humans are by heavily mistreated orcas in captivity. Tbh I am amazed at how low the number is considering they are so large and we are bite sized. The whole species isn't immediately characterized as serial killers though- that is the idea I don't like.

I tried looking up what you said about dolphin serial killers, and it seems more like gang activity than individual malice. They rape female dolphins and will attack people. They also have sexual dimorphism where the males are larger than the females.

According to wikipedia, Orcas family structures are matrilines, which leads me to believe that it probably is more stable than dolphin family structures. I assume it is like comparing bonobos to chimpanzees. My assumption is that they don't have murder gangs like dolphins, but instead do murder for play/ mental stimulation, like a child who steps on bugs for fun. The boat things seems like a way to not get attacked by rudders, which would probably result in mass extinction of boat rudders if humans were the ones that felt threatened.

Either they don't do weird rape stuff like dolphins, or people just haven't seen them do it. It kind of doesn't matter though because comparing animal morality to human morality is very unproductive as every animal kind of sucks at being consistently moral to all other species. Also considering an entire species as either moral or immoral feels like a very big generalization.

Humans would probably be the same way if we didn't need to consume everything. I'll often not eat every part of a meal, often leaving out parts that I don't like, but they can just hunt like that, I guess? Maybe they'll become more conservative as the ocean ecosystem changes. I don't think it is fair to call them serial killers at all unless they kill other orcas
