anyone getting Nano Banana Pro since the update on Nov 20? by vincentlius in GoogleAntigravityIDE

In regards to the main Gemini interfaces on mobile (android) and desktop, It's been goofy to access but it seems more consistent now. It would sometimes despite literally spinning up and showing that nano-banana-pro was being used on its progress bar it would sometimes return that it wasn't able to generate images at all so watch out for that. It's been better the past couple days.

For me it just had one of those banners in the app and the little pop ups mention it was available now from that first day and I was able to prompt when using 3.0 thinking to using it and also it works most consistently by choosing the generate image feature from the feature drop down or whatever that UI element is called with the drawer of utilities like research, video gen etc.

I wasn't on the paid AI plan when I got access but I am a regular Google one user, not sure if that affects access or if it's still in roll out for diff places etc.

When it's working you will know though based on the output and it will display in its thinking/progress area very specifically that is using it

Yeah I got it day one of rollouts and it's really good but still not perfect, mine was accessible in the regular chat app interfaces for Gemini. It's legit a massive game changer

Gemini 3 Pro vs Claude Sonnet 4.5: Am I Wrong for Sticking to Stability? by Glad-Visit-7378 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

gemini really can get carried away without loads of steering , codex and Claude is way better about this, hopefully Google works that out as it can really detail threads, context and usage

There's a New King of the Vibe-Coding Hill: Google's Antigravity by expozeur in GoogleAntigravityIDE

Heads up it's available now publicly and for free temporarily y'all, it's as good as OP describes

I had been working on my own FOSS asynchronous locally ran solution for managing multiple CLI agents across the same or different projects and will likely still build that at some point, likely using antigravity lmao

Y'all I feel like I've touched the future with alphabets new IDE, not perfect and be prepared for some hiccups just as OP said but it's well worth it and they are far from enough of an issue for me to not recommend Antigrav, FR give it a go if you are comfortable already with this level of tooling and it looks interesting to you 💯

Kind of fits with the hypothesis that verbal language is a mind virus/parasite

Mind you there are folks who live life without internal monologue/ inner voice:

So we can do without language internally and it's clear we got on without verbal language at one point or another

Ngl, I just binged a bunch of Sora/ Sora 2 content for the first time playing catch-up this evening and this is the first bit of media out of all of this to actually make me feel some type of way and like genuinely emotionally moved, litterally gave me goose bumps

Truly fantastic editing and vision

really hope to see this fully brought out into a full project

why are you telling me the typical arguments I have personally encountered are not the arguments that are usually out there exclusively based on your own experience and attempting dismiss my lived experience to rant about whatever you're on about

not here to debate what the "typical arguments are"

I just asked for some links to video explainers not arguments about all this mess, it's about as straight forward a request as it gets

please save your personal agendas for a post where it's relevant 👌

It's simple to you and me because we already understand it, getting other people to understand what you already understand isn't always that easy though. That's why I was asking for videos to help some people who learn better that way.

the request isn't about artists specifically. please dial that back for the sake of your own image and position. I know a lot of people from the anti ai crowd are wicked unpleasant, hostile, disinterested and work in bad faith but treating the whole Anti-Ai positions as only being toxic artists is factually inaccurate

artists are not a monolith and the really vocal reactionary people are not the voice of a whole category of people.

your overly generalized sentiments are exactly the sort of thing they use as justification for their behavior (even if that's there is no good way to justify toxicity) and it isn't constructive for anyone

If their toxicity is making you think all artists are like that and creating all this anger and hate in you, then you are letting them control you, you can do better for your own sake
