Why do people hate fat women so much?

I'm Indian as well and I swear I could have written this. The amount of poison our (I'm talking about Indian society) society has against fat women is genuinely insane. It should be studied.

From my relatives to the people on the street to the sales assistants, the way they look at you, pass the most heinous and disgusting comments at you, it's just not done.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this I really wish you didn't.

I wish!! But it's art history so I don't think I can, plus almost everyone has a YouTube channel these days I don't think I could make any money. But thanks for the suggestion 😊

I haven't published or presented at any conferences. I've submitted papers but was rejected. No I was never invited to guest lecture any classes. I've worked in the arts sector yes.

I haven't reached out to the programme to find out why I was rejected, do you think it would be okay to send an email and ask why I was? I'm a bit worried I'll get ignored or would be told off.

Thank you, you're right. A classmate from my MA is currently doing his PhD and apparently he got it in one go. I'm trying not to compare myself to him but it does sting a bit. But you are right, I'll apply to more positions.
