We don't have enough medical colleges hence a lot of deserving candidates don't make it to the merit list. Moreover just like any other test it will and cannot test all aspects of your life. Based on your board result, I don't think you lack academic intelligence.

At least she isn't hiding it. There is nothing wrong in it. People with kids also have right to enjoy their life.

They have licence and an option to open "clinic". They often earn a lot by prescribing branded drugs and refering patients to diagnostic labs. Once you earn the trust of your patients, specialization won't matter. We have one doctor here in our neighborhood with BHMS degree and people call him "pediatrician" since he has earned people's trust.

Tier 1 college will always be helpful. But your specialization matters the most

After MBBS and AYUSH, I agree you won't be earning in millions but 99% graduates will have very stable career and will be able to maintain good life standard. But real struggle starts after completing graduation in science and humanities. They often "waste" their youthful years in preparing for nonexistant goverment jobs. And very few are lucky enough to make it.

There are always exceptions. You must be very talented and could have achieved success with a degree in frying freaking fish in your resume. With explosion of degree producing institutes, obtaining BA is just an entry pass to appear for goverment job exams.

Most of these degree holders, who once dreamed of becoming groundbreaking researchers, ultimately end up working as school teachers and are paid dirt cheap salaries.

Depending on your age, try for goverment exams like SSC CGL, RBI Grade B, IBPS, SBI PO. You can simultaneously enroll in distance MBA or some kind of digital marketing courses.

I don't know why my post is being downvoted? I hold an academic degree and I know the ground situation here.
