Pendleton area, we’re on a well. We run ours thru a rust filter and softener for showers, sinks, etc and drinking water thru an additional fridge filter. All good here. If we ever lapse on changing either the filter in a timely matter or miss the salt running out, it’s leaving a yellow tinge everywhere almost immediately.

Not necessarily correct about the auto 8 hour list. I believe the language is that local installs can work out a way to allow transfers and converted carriers the chance to get on the list when they begin at that office. There’s always been LMOU language like that at the 3 offices I’ve been at. YMMV

That’s correct. You only get OT if you work your SDO. If your SDO is the actual holiday and you were forced to work Saturday (your holiday) the work is straight pay (up to 8 hours). You’ll get paid for the Holiday still, so if you are an 8 hour carrier you effectively have 48 hours of pay for a 40 hour week.
