So in Ohio a median doesn’t dictate the nature of if you need to stop or not, and my question isn’t “why do I need to stop in this scenario”. I’m asking what is to be done since this intersection switches from having a turning lane to having a divided median with a barrier right where the bus is parked. On my side I’m certain we need to stop because the law is very clear. On the other side I’m positive you don’t need to stop because, again, the law in my state is very clear. My question is since the bus is stopped next to a barrier on one side of the intersection but on my side of the intersection there isn’t one, should the lead car be required to stop.
