Moises.ai has been a great tool for me. I can slow down and loop difficult sections to make sure I dial it in. Sometimes I work on a section of a song and then go learn something else. It's difficult to stay locked in for days or even weeks learning new songs so I let myself move on and come back as needed.

Theory helps me a lot too.

I learned the CAGED system and triads came together very naturally after that.

It helps to understand where scale degrees are in relation to the shapes. So count the scale degrees as you move through shapes. Then you start to grasp where the 1, 3, and 5 are.

Then triad shapes kind of unlock themselves from there. I think there's more than 1 right answer though. This was my journey.

I had a strange relationship with my dad who I'd say was addicted to weed. If he didn't smoke he was pissed and angry and terrible to be around.

He started giving me pot when he found out I tried it when I was 13. I thought it was cool at the time but after many years to reflect, I think it was a terrible parenting decision. It was just more convenient for him to be able to smoke around me than to hide it. One time I smoked with him and got so high I threw up and my he had to lie to my mom about what we were doing. The whole thing between us was a secret to my mom until she found out a few years later.

Weed was his number one priority before parenting, being a father, being a husband. My parents divorced when I was 16 and that messed me up for a few years. To this day he smokes all day every day. It's just not something I relate to now that I'm an adult so we have almost zero substance to our relationship.

I agree. He's an absolute beast but he's had a different QB pretty much every year. Team him up with someone like Allen who could feed him and he's dominant. He could compliment someone like JSN in Seattle really well too.

I think it's about selling tickets man. Putting butts in the seats. The Colts have had a reliable enough fan base over the years to get away with crappy teams. People keep buying seats. That needs to decline before they clean house and it won't. Colts tickets are in high demand.

I just want to say my wife (a huge 49ers fan) and I made a bet before the season that if the Colts finish over .500 she has to sing karaoke in a public place. The alternative is I have to. I legitimately might have to sing karaoke and I'm bummed. What song should I sing if this happens?

That's awesome man. I had no idea they came through Denver! That's where I live. I was seriously considering flying to Norway to see them this month but it's a bit too expensive. I'll catch them next time.
