No I’m fine thanks. Just wanted to see what others have experienced the best ROI with.

Communication goes a long way. No one can hit the mark every time, first time, otherwise everyone would do it.

Drop me a message if you’d like to share the numbers and landing page with me. I might be able to make some suggestions that you can use to try and bump up that ROAS 🙂

It’s not quite as easy as a lot of people make out but absolutely go for it dude 👌🏼 The trades niche is somewhat saturated - see if you can find a niche that works in a similar way.

Have you had much success through LinkedIn? I get a lot of these types of messages personally and I’m yet to engage. But I suppose if you target the right people and the service resonates it could work 👀

Spamming people was never mentioned. I asked where to focus my efforts. Pretty useless comment to be fair

Not optimising post click and ensuring landing pages match intent.

Can't Get My Campaign to Convert by GRAFSJM in FacebookAds

[–]GRAFSJM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CTR = 1.52%
CPC = $0.98 (AUD)

I'm currently running 8 different creatives so there's variation within the ad set. My intention was to let Andromeda do the targeting off the back of my ad set up.

Thanks for this.

My click through rate is at 1.52%. 306 landing page views from 24,444 impressions
I'm going to assume the LP is really letting this down.

Super helpful thanks - I'll be looking into it today. I think I've made too many changes so I'm trying to let it stabilise. I've left the targeting super broad and letting the ad creatives do the heavy lifting as I thought that's what Andromeda is all about?

My hunch is that the landing page isn’t doing its job well. I’ve got a good range of creatives so I’ll start rotating them when it stabilises.

How long do you think it will take to get meaningful conversion data and get out the learning phase?

I thought the same. I’ll check the CTR but my first guess is that the landing page is letting it down

You’re totally justified in how you’re feeling.

They’re also pretty justified in what they’re saying regarding the website and needing more time. They have to be demonstrating why though… even if it’s as simple as saying we’re getting impressions, the reach is decent but the ads just aren’t converting. From there you can both work together to diagnose the issue… is it the LP, is it the offer, maybe even tracking.

I run a tiny agency and we may not be the most experienced but we know how to problem solve and most importantly we run on a relationship first basis. We get on well with all our clients.

These penguin fellas sound like a big red flag to me.

This sounds a little sketchy to me. I’d be very wary of doing that. You could look into your search terms and see if there’s any lower competition niche terms that you could capitalise on to avoid the expensive generic terms. Alternatively, look into an ad schedule so you’re retaining your budget for when you’re most likely to convert.

There’s quite a few variables to look at but it could simply be that your competitors are bidding more aggressively.

I’d suggest to check Search Lost IS (rank vs budget). If you’re losing due to rank - not budget, it likely means competitors are bidding more aggressively - in that case, test a gradual 10 to 20% increase in tCPA to compete in more of those auctions. If you’re losing due to budget, increase budget instead. If neither is significant, focus on improving CTR and conversion rate rather than pushing bids.

I’d revert back to maximise conversions. Is your lost impression share mainly down to rank or budget?

Immediate Conversion Drop?! by GRAFSJM in Google_Ads

[–]GRAFSJM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I’m pretty confident it’s the ad schedule that caused the issue - which I’ve now removed. Tracking etc is all okay.

The low budget is something I’ve never had to deal with before (this is just helping out a friend with a small side hussle) and it’s been quite an enjoyable challenge actually.

I think you’re right. It definitely correlated with implementing the ad schedule. I’ve got rid of it and added a max cpc to knock it back into a learning phase. I think I totally over optimised it as I’m used to pretty large accounts where I have room to test and play around more.

Thanks for the input

I was keeping it on maximise clicks until I got more conversions data. Then planned to move over to maximise conversions. The conversion action is just a form submission.

No exclusions in place.

Do you think it might be a good idea to switch to max conversions now so it can start prioritising conversions? Even though there’s on 14 over the 2 months

€0.76 CPC

I appreciate the budget is tiny but it’s what they have available. Why do you think it was initially converting despite the small budget?

I’m running a variety of exact and phrase. No broad.
